    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide woody and lightweight feelings resembling a wood and enhance a mechanical strength and display a smooth nailing property and a high resistance to a nail to be nipped off by forming an outer shell with a composite of a polyolefin resin with each a specific value in thickness and a woody material content with the woody material, and a core material with a polyolefin resin foam. SOLUTION: The molding 1 is formed of an outer shell 11 and a core material 12 which is thermally fused to and fully packed in the outer shell 11, and the outer shell 11 is 0.5-8.0 mm thick so as to contribute to providing the molding 1 with a mechanical strength and a resistance to a nail to be nipped off. In addition, the outer shell 11 is formed of a polyolefin resin and a woody material, and a composite material having 30-70 wt.% woody material content is used, and further, the core material 12 is formed of a polyolefin resin foam. When the woody material content is less than 30 wt.%, the coefficient of linear expansion is high and the mechanical strength is insufficient. When the woody material content is 70% or over, the fluidity is low and the molding work is difficult. As the woody material, sander particles generated during manufacturing a cellulosic material, a particle board or the like which are obtained from pulps and the like can be used.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyolefin resin compositions containing a lignocellulosic or cellulosic material which are inexpensive and good in mold processability and excellent in retention of shape at the time of being extruded from a die in the profile extrusion, and a process for preparing the same. SOLUTION: Extrusion molding polyolefin resin compositions comprises 30-70 pts.wt. sum of (A) a polypropylene based resin and (B) a polyethylene based resin at a weight ratio of 30-70: 70-30, (C) 70-30 pts.wt. esterified cellulosic substance which is a product obtained by esterifying a cellulosic substance with a polybasic acid anhydride with an amount of the polybasic acid anhydride having been introduced by esterification of 0.5-20 wt.% based on the cellulosic substance, and (D) 0.001-0.1 pt.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. sum of components (A), (B), and (C), organic peroxide.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a composition for wood-based molding, suitably useful as a molding material such as a material for extrusion molding, a material for thermocompression molding and a material for injection molding. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a composition for wood-based molding from a woody material, a chemical modification agent for esterifying the woody material and a thermoplastic synthetic resin, a woody material flow which is a first flow is mixed with the chemical modification agent which is a second flow to give a third flow. The third flow is continuously heated and kneaded to esterify the woody material. Then immediately, the third flow is mixed with a thermoplastic synthetic resin flow which is a forth flow to form a fifth flow. The fifth flow is continuously heated and kneaded to form the objective composition flow for woody based-molding.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odorless woody board good in quality and having no odor of formaldehyde, and further provide an adhesive for a woody board, capable of maintaining a production rate equal to that in a conventional method and moreover producing the woody board good in quality. SOLUTION: This odorless woody board is formed by incorporating aluminum hydroxide into a woody board obtained by bonding woody materials to one another with a formaldehyde-based thermosetting resin. An adhesive for this odorless woody board is prepared by blending 0.1-20 pts.wt. of the aluminum hydroxide with 100 pts.wt. of the formaldehyde-based thermosetting resin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet with excellent appearance surface hardness, abrasion resistance, water-proofness, etc., industrially profitably. SOLUTION: A hardenable composition consisting of a chemically modified wooden material a thermosetting resin and a polymerization initiator is placed on a wooden base material, on which a decorative sheet where thermosetting resin in an unhardened condition can be penetrated and permeated is placed to effect a thermal pressure. Further preferably, a composition consisting of a chemically modified wooden material a thermoplastic resin, a thermosetting resin and a polymerization initiator is made into a sheet form. The obtained sheet-shaped hardened composition is placed on a wooden base material, on which, a decorative sheet where thermosetting resin in an unhardened condition can be penetrated and permeated is placed to be thermally pressed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture composition for molding thermoplastic woody system in a short time by supplying woody material, polybasic anhydride and epoxy compound by using a continuous reactor to addition esterify or previously adding polybasic anhydride to the hydroxyl group of woody material to supply the obtained carboxyl group-containing esterified woody material, epoxy compound and as required polybasic anhydride to addition esterify it. CONSTITUTION: A continuous reactor has two agitating shafts aligned laterally on one row in a lateral sealed cocoon-shaped barrel (body) 2, and a flat paddle (kneading) 3 a helical paddle 4 (kneading and feeding), and a reversely helical paddle (kneading and reverse feeding) 5 assembled at the shafts. The mixing, dispersing and reacting can be continuously conducted in a very short time by the combination of the paddles and the numbers of revolutions of the shafts. Particularly, the paddle 5 is assembled by 1/6 to 1/3 of the entire paddle (blade) 1 to further efficiency advance the mixing, dispersing and reacting.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To plasticize the component of ligneous material at low temp. and low pressure in a short time and to make hot-pressing fluidity excellent and to regenerate and reutilize a molded form wherein the molded from due to hot-pressing molding is pulverized and polybasic acid anhydride and/or monoepoxy compd. are added by constituting the title composition of the oligo-esterified ligneous material, an oligomer and polybasic acid anhydride and/or monoepoxy compound. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic ligneous based composition for molding is constituted of the oligo-esterified ligneous material wherein polybasic acid anhydride and monoepoxy compd. are mutually added, an oligomer obtained from polybasic acid anhydride and the monoepoxy compd. and polybasic acid anhydride and/or the monoepoxy compd. While this composition contains the large components of ligneous material, this components thereof are plasticized in the hot-pressing molding conditions at the comparatively low temp. and low pressure in a short time and hot-pressing fluidity is remarkably increased. Furthermore since a molded form due to hot-pressing molding has not a cross-linking structure, remolding thereof is enabled by pulverizing it and adding polybasic acid anhydride and/or monoepoxy compd.
