Abstract: The use of an aqueous dispersion of oil globules, comprising mono-/oligo-lamellar liquid crystal coating, for cosmetics (or preparation of cosmetic) to prevent/treat skin disorders by intervening in the inflammatory process and/or for preventing/treating skin irritation and/or sun erythema. An Independent claim is also included for a process of cosmetically treating inflammation and/or skin irritation and/or sun erythema comprising applying the composition to the inflamed/irritated skin and/or erythema the aqueous dispersion of oil globules comprising mono-/oligo-lamellar coating.

Abstract: A nanoemulsion comprising a dispersed lipid phase in an aqueous phase with the lipid globules having an average size of less than 100 nm contains: (1) a surfactant (solid at up to 45 degrees C) such as fatty esters of glycerol; and (2) at least one oil with a molecular weight of more than 400, at a lipid phase/surfactant weight ratio of 2-10. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a topical composition comprising the above described composition; (2) an ophthalmic support comprising the above described composition; (3) a pharmaceutical composition comprising the above described composition; (4) a cosmetic method for the care and/or hydration of the skin, mucosa and/or scalp by applying the above described composition; and (5) the preparation of the composition by mixing an aqueous phase and a lipid phase at 10-80 degrees C and homogenizing the mixture at 6 x 10 -18 x 10 Pa.

Abstract: La présente invention se rapporte à une nanoémulsion dont les globules d'huile ont une taille moyenne inférieure à 100 nm, contenant un tensioactif choisi parmi les alkényl succinates alkoxylés, les alkényl succinates de glucose alkoxylés et les alkényl succinates de méthylglucose alkoxylés, et au moins une huile ayant un poids moléculaire supérieur à 400, le rapport en poids de la quantité de phase huileuse sur la quantité de tensioactif allant de 2 à 10. Le tensioactif utilisé est par exemple choisi dans le groupe comprenant l'hexadécényl succinate 18 OE, l'hexadécényl succinate 45 OE, le dihexadécényl succinate 18 OE, le dihexadécényl succinate de glucose 10 OE, le dihexadécényl succinate de glucose 20 OE, l'hexadécényl succinate de glucose 18 OE, le dioctadécényl-succinate de méthyl glucose 20 OE et leurs mélanges. L'émulsion obtenue est transparente et stable au stockage. Elle peut contenir des quantités importantes d'huile tout en conservant une bonne transparence et en ayant de bonnes propriétés cosmétiques. Elle peut constituer une composition à usage topique, une composition pharmaceutique ou une composition ophtalmologique. L'invention se rapporte aussi à l'utilisation de la nanoémulsion selon l'invention dans les domaines cosmétique et dermatologique, en particulier pour l'hydratation de la peau et/ou des muqueuses, ainsi que pour le traitement des cheveux, et dans le domaine ophtalmologique en collyre pour le traitement des yeux.
