    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve water resistance and light resistance of an image to be recorded by discharging a mixed liquid of an ink and a dilute liquid on a record medium. CONSTITUTION: After fixed quantities of an ink and an intercalation compound- containing dilute liquid are mixed, the mixed liquid is discharged on a record medium for recording. The intercalation compound is of a high molecular material with which ion exchange for a dye in the ink is possible, and an inorganic high molecular material having exchangeable ion between layers is preferable. The dilute liquid contains a binder consisting of a high molecular material. Further, it is preferable that the dilute liquid contains a crosslinker which is inactive in the dilute liquid. Furthermore, it is preferable that the dilute liquid contains a surface active agent. Also, the intercalation compound consisting of the inorganic high molecular material, the binder consisting of the crosslinker- containing high molecular material, and a nonionics-containing dilute liquid may be mixed in the ink for fixed quantities, and the mixed liquid of these may be discharged on the record medium for recording.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To carry out the intermediate tone printing having the uniformity of image by a method wherein an ink ejection nozzle ejecting an ink and a transparent solvent ejection nozzle ejecting a transparent solvent are closely located and the ink and the transparent solvent are mixed outside of the nozzles. CONSTITUTION:On the starting of the printing, a pulse type do voltage is applied on opposing mesh electrodes provided on the each surface of an electric permeation membrane 16 of an ink reservoir section 5 to supply a specified amount of ink 4 from an ink supplying passage 7 to an ink ejection nozzle 13 of a mixture nozzle section 8 so that the ink is not ejected from an ink nozzle 15 to stay at an outlet with being a ball shape. Next, a specified voltage is applied on opposing electrodes 11a of an electrostrictive vibrator 11 to reduce a volume of an ink reservoir 3 by the distortion of the electrostrictive vibrator 11 so that a transparent solvent 2 is ejected from a transparent solvent nozzle 14. At that time, the ink ball is influenced by the movement of the transparent solvent 2 and they are unified with each other to form a mixture liquid which is ejected from a mixture nozzle section 8 and spouts. The pressure applied on the ink reservoir 3 is effectively transferred to the mixture nozzle section 8 without hindering a transparent solvent supply passage 6 by means of a one way valve 9 disposed therein.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To significantly shorten the printing time of an ink-jet print head which spouts ink and transparent solvent after mixing them up, by applying water-repellent finish on the inside of a mixing part where the ink and transparent solvent are mixed. CONSTITUTION:While printing is not performed, transparent solvent 4 and ink 9 are repelled by water-repellent finish 14 applied on the inner circumferential face of a nozzle 7 and prevented from entering the nozzle 7 and from being mixed naturally. Then, when a heater 2 is energized to heat them, bubbles are produced inside the transparent solvent 4 and adiabatically inflate, causing the transparent solvent 4 to be pushed into the nozzle 7. At this time, the transparent solvent 4 is mixed with the ink 9 protruding inside the nozzle 7 to make a mixed liquid 13 and protrudes from a spout 12 of an orifice 11. When heating by the heater 2 is stopped, the bubbles are deprived of heat by the transparent solvent 4 surrounding the bubbles and deflate to extinction, however, the mixed liquid 13 is spouted from the orifice 11 at this time. Air enters the nozzle 7 after the mixed liquid is spouted, and the ink 9 and the transparent solvent 4 return to the initial state due to the surface tension of the water-repellent finish 14.

In this case, a hard coat layer 36 whose surface roughness is set to 5-30mum by dispersing dielectric beads 37 composed of plastic beads with a mean particle size of 5-30mum in an ultraviolet curable acrylic resin is provided on the dielectric layer 25. By this method, proper unevenness is formed to the surface of the electrostatic recording medium 31.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the composite sheet improved in whitenes and light resis tance by laminating a white composite semiconductor film consisting of two layers; a high-resistance layer and a low-resistance layer and a high-dielectric film. CONSTITUTION:The composite sheet is formed by laminating the composite semiconductor film composed of the high-resistance layer having 10 to 10 OMEGA/square surface resistance and the low-resistance layer having OMEGA/square and the high-dielectric film having >=5 dielectric constant on the high-resistance layer. A resin for a coating material consisting of polyurethane of a non- yellowing type and vinyl acetate is preferably used as the base film of the composite semiconductor. Conductive fillers formed by coating the surface of a white or pseudo-white fibrpous, flaky or planer base material (for example, mica) with the composite oxide film composed of tin and antimony are used as the conductive fillers for forming the white semiconductor film by imparting an electrical conductivity to both the high- and low-resistance layers.
