Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve manipulation of a tape recorder with a radio receiver by displaying the count content of a linear tape counter by a radio reception frequency display unit and also by controlling the recorder in accordance with a comparison with a preset value. CONSTITUTION:Display unit 15, displaying the channel selection frequency of radio receiver 10, displays a tape position obtained by linear counter 11 of tape recorder 9 by switching switch 17. The count content of this counter 11 is stored in memory 20 by write key 24 and preset key 23 and the beginning-of-tape setting mode is preset. Then, operating key 23 makes comparator 26 compara the preset value in memory 20 with the count content of counter 11 and until the both agree each other, the run direction, run speed, etc., of a tape are controlled to perform the display of the count content of counter 11 at the time of a coincidence on unit 15 and the setting of the beginning of the tape through the constant-speed run of the tape, etc., so that the purpose can be achieved without scaling up the operation unit of a tape recorder with a radio receiver.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To distinguish a state where a receiver is locked for a receiving frequency, by flashing a frequency indicator during frequency scanning. CONSTITUTION:Under a stable receiving state, frequency indicator 43 indicates it continuously. The receiving frequency is scanned by inputting clock pulses to counter 21 and adding them one by one. At this time, when mode switch Sm is turned off, scan is stopped for a fixed time after the broadcast station is received; and scan is stopped when mode switch Sm is turned on after broadcast station receiving, however, scan is started again when mode switch Sm is left turned off. Then, this fixed-time scan stop state is indicated by flashing the indicator. The fixed-time scan stop is discriminated by output ''1'' of receiving detection circuit 28 and switch Sm and is indicated by operating AND between these outputs and pulse generator 51 to control liquid crystal driver 55.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to receive all channels even when there are many channels, by increasing scan operation in number of times by automatically presetting channels from a present channel by auto-scanning until a memory is filled. CONSTITUTION:For preset operation for five channels, pushing a scan switch puts an auto-scan into operation and at every reception of a broadcasting station, its frequency is written in memory 44. After data for five channels are all written, an overflow signal is generated and the scan stops. The scan is made from a low- frequency side to a high-frequency side and when the auto-scan is put into operation during reception of a frequency at address 3, the frequency in reception is stored in memory 23 and auto-presetting is done in sequence from the present reception frequency. Although the number of channels preset at a time is five, many channels can be preset, five by five.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To identify an extended handset equally with the existing handset by providing an extension memory means and a write device to a base unit and writing an identification code of the extension handset to the extension memory means at the extension of the handset. Thus, an identification code of the memory means 45 is supplied to a writer 17 and the code corresponding to the identification code is written in the memory means 15. Thus, the extension handset 4 is identified equally as the existing handset 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To widen the directivity in the rotary axis direction by providing a radiation conductor to the convexed face of a dielectric of curved face of rotation. The vertical directivity of the microstrip antenna is, for example, cardioide and nondirectivity is formed in the horizontal direction, then the titled antenna is most suited to a mobile radio system utilizing a still satellite or a radio navigation system.

The circuit has a digital filter characteristic and the required number of stages is set. Further, a delay quantity of each delay circuit and the coefficient of each coefficient multiplier are set variably in response to a privacy telephone code data from a scramble control circuit 30. An output signal is analogized and outputted to an output terminal 17, subject to modulation and the result is sent in a radio wave. The analog signal demodulated by a receiver is subject to descrambling processing in inverted relation to the descrambling processing at the transmission side by the reception side circuit of the similar constitution and the polarity is inverted similarly by a circuit section 80, converted into an analog signal and a voice signal with high quality is extracted from an output terminal 67.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To expand bit compressed data without degrading the tone quality by adding an average value of the lower bit part dropped out for bit compression to the lower side of data to expand bits. CONSTITUTION:When data bits D1-D11 of input data DIN are supplied to input terminals 1-11, data bits D1-D10 are sent to a shift register 21, and the data bit D11 is sent to a latch 22. Data bits D10-D1 are shifted to upper digits successively in the register 21, and the 4-bit output from the register 21 and the bit D11 are latched in the latch 22. Thus, compressed data DCOM where lower three bits are dropped out is obtained. When data DCOM is supplied to input terminals 31 and 32, data bits D01-D04 are sent to a shift register 61, and a data bit D05 is sent to the shift register 61 and a latch 62. The data bit train is shifted to lower digits successively in the register 61, and the data bit train is latched in the latch 62. Thus, the average value of the dropped-out bit part is added.
