    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize downsizing and weight reduction of a focus control device by moving a movable member in a condition where a focus lens is housed in a fixing member. CONSTITUTION:A fixing part 2 is composed of a yoke body 5 where an outside yoke cylinder part 9 and an inside yoke cylinder part 10 are concentrically formed through a connecting part 8, a support shaft 4 supported at least with the inside yoke cylinder part by facing a notch 11 formed in the shaft direction and a magnet 6 fixed to one side of both yoke cylinder parts so as to constitute a closed magnetic path. A movable part 3 is composed of a bobbin 14 in which a coil 24 is wound round a peripheral surface and which is interposed and inserted between the outside yoke cylinder part and the inside yoke cylinder part and a driven body holding member 13 to hold a driven body 12 which has a diameter smaller than the inside yoke cylinder part and is housed in a bobbin inside hole part through connecting members 18 and 19. A shaft hole 17 in which a support shaft is inserted is formed in the connecting member 18 to connect the bobbin correspondingly positioned in the notch and the drivers body holding member to each other.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a small stepping motor with improved accuracy in stop position, and advantages in vibration and noise characteristics, by using a polar tooth member with a given thickness, and constituting twelve polarities. CONSTITUTION:In a small stepping motor with a 10.5mm outside diameter, an A-phase coil part 37 comprises a polar tooth member 41 made of a material with a high magnetic permeability. The polar tooth member 41 includes a polar tooth 41A in opposition to a rotor magnet 33 while a polar tooth member 42 has a polar tooth 42A, which is in the same shape as the polar tooth 41A and is alternately provided with the polar tooth 41A so that the polar tooth member 41 and the polar tooth member 42 are connected with each other. Then, a wire of 0.05mm in diameter is wound as much as 650 turns to form a coil part 35A. In this case, the board thicknesses of the polar tooth members 41 and 42 are made 0.6 to 0.85 mm, and thereby the tooth base part R1 is made larger. Moreover, the stepping motor has no less than twelve polarities. In this way, since the magnetic flux can be reduced without diminishing the output torque, the accuracy in stop position and the vibration and noise characteristics can be improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate nonuniformity in manufacture and to detect the position in movement of an object directly with stable precision in relation to a change in temperature, without causing a loss of thrust of the object of which the position is to be detected, and with a high resolution. CONSTITUTION:A magnetoresistance effect (MR) type device for detecting a position which has an MR element 13, a magnet 15 giving a change in resistance to the MR element and a position change signal processing circuit 20. The MR element and the magnet are disposed so that they move relatively. The MR element has magnetic detectors A1 to C1 for a plurality of phases which are formed to be ferromagnetic films so as to generate position change signals of a plurality of phases. The magnetic detector for each phase is composed of a pair of detectors A1 and A2 and these detectors are formed as thin lines by etching or the like, spaced by an interval being half of a magnetic pole forming space lambda in the magnet substantially. The magnetic detector for each phase is formed at an interval of lambda/number of phases respectively. The signal processing circuit outputs a position change detection signal of a resolution of 3l/2m ((m) is the number of phases in an odd number) or lambda/4n ((n) is the number of phases in an even number).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce dimensions in the axial and perpendicular directions with the number of parts cut down by forming a guide shaft which slidably bears the mobile coil supporting mover partially out of a permeable material in the radial direction, by arranging an almost cylindrical yoke so as to surround the movement range of the mobile coil, and by bringing a field generating magnet into contact to bear the mobile member at the protruding part through the axial cutout of th yoke. CONSTITUTION:The whole or a part 15 of a guide shaft 14 is formed out of a permeable material in the radial direction of the crosssection. A mobile coil 27 is supported by a mover 13 slidably borne by this guide shaft 14 so as to be coaxial with it. A yoke 18 which makes an almost cylindrical shape is so located as to surround the movement range of the mobile coil 27 and provided with a field generating magnet which contacts this yoke. A cutout 18a extending axially in those components is cut at least in the yoke 18, so that a protruding part 22 supports the mobile member 10 through the cutout 18a of the mover 13. Therefore, dimensions of an actuator 13 can be reduced in the axial and perpendicular directions. In addition, since the guide shaft 14 is provided with the function as the inside yoke, the number of parts can be cut down.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make an outward appearance small in size and smooth without slanting the optical axis owing to the movement of the lens barrel by supporting a movable lens at optical-axis symmetric positions and arranging position detecting means at equal intervals with the positions and a driving means around the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A size which is a little bit larger than the diameter of the lens is required in the radius direction of the lens so as to arrange the movable lens 11 and an actuator 15 which moves it. Two guided parts 34, guiding parts 23, position detecting means, and speed detecting means are arranged well dispersedly around the optical axis X of the lens 11, so outward appearance which has no partial projection is realized. Further, the moving forces generated by the coil 13 of the actuator and a magnet 14 are transmitted equally to the whole part surrounding the lens 11 annularly and a lens holding member 12 can move smoothly without generating such moment that the optical axis is slanted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a pulse generator and to simplify a signal processing circuit by composing a conductor pattern for a PG magnet of a pattern part for PG detection and a pattern part for cancellation which generates an electromotive current in the opposite direction from the electromotive current of the pattern part for PG detection. CONSTITUTION:The conductor pattern 7 for the PG magnet consists of the pattern part 11 for PG detection provided opposite the PG magnet 5 and the pattern part 12 for cancellation which is provided opposite an external magnet 4 while connected in series with the pattern part 11 and generates the electromotive current in the opposite direction from that of the pattern part 1. Consequently, an electromotive current (noise component) is generated at the pattern part 11 by the leak magnetic flux of the magnet 4 and the electromotive current in the opposite direction from the electromotive current of the pattern part 11 is generated at the pattern part 12; and the electromotive current generated at the pattern part 11 is canceled by the electromotive current generated at the pattern part 12, so a PG signal which has almost no noise component is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent as much as possible the scattering in the torque of the title motor regardless of the rotating speed of the same, by a method wherein a waveform, generated by amplifying linearly a waveform obtained from a magnetism detector, is employed for a slant waveform in the vicinity of the switching of the phase of the motor. CONSTITUTION:Circuits 1, 2 constitute linear amplifiers, therefore, the output voltage of a Hall element H1, changed comparatively slowly in accordance with the rotation of a rotor, is amplified while maintaining the waveform thereof as it is and is outputted from operational amplifiers A1, A2. These output voltages mitigate the steep slope of the leading edge and trailing edge of the driving currents of coils L1, L2 which are out ON/OFF by transistors TR1, TR2 through resistors R10, R11. According to this method, electromagnetic sounds and the scattering in the torque may be prevented as much as possible and the mechanical vibration of the title motor may be reduced remarkably.
