    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive to attain low power consumption, small size and light weight by using a back light means radiating a white light in closing the opening only when a camera is used at a dark place such as indoor place. CONSTITUTION:In using a video camera at an indoor dark place, a back light means 10 is turned downward and an opening 4 of a view finder main body 3 is closed, then the switch 14 is turned on and a cold cathode fluorescent lamp 12 of a back light means 10 is lighted. The light from the white light source B from the cold cathode fluorescent lamp 12 is made incident in the polarized plate 7 placed at the rear face of the color liquid crystal panel 6 and an object of the same color as the state of the picture picked up by a photographer by using a video camera is displayed on a color liquid crystal panel 6. The state is confirmed by peeping the eye cup 16 of the view finder 2. Thus, the back lighting power is reduced, the device is made small in size and light in the weight.

The view finder accessories with the video camera consists of a liquid crystal television monitor 6, the back light lighting means 7, and a control means 8 applying its ON/OFF control. The control means 8 utilizes the aperture detection signal so as to turn off the back light lighting means 7 when an external light is sufficiently bright and turns ON the back light lighting means 7 when not.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable disk device capable of surely protecting a disk-like recording medium from dirt and scratches when substituting the disk-like recording medium and advantageous to easy substituting operation.
    SOLUTION: A flat slope 122 turned obliquely upwards is formed on a case 102 and a disk temporary fixing part 108 is formed on the slope 122. The disk temporary fixing part 108 is constituted of a flat seat surface 108A and an engagement part 108B projected from the seat surface 108A. The engagement part 108B is inserted into a center hole of the disk-like recording medium D, the rear face around the center hole is set on the seat surface 108A and held on the disk temporary fixing part 108 and the seat surface 108A and the engagement part 108B are constituted so that the recording surface of the disk-like recording medium D does not abutted on any position of an image pickup device 100 in the held state.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust balance after the assembling of a rotary head drum device by adjusting the balance of a rotary drum from a hole connected to the rotary drum provided in a fixed drum. SOLUTION: A hole 20 connected to the bottom surface of a rotary drum 3 is provided in the bottom part of a fixed drum 2, and the balance of the rotary drum 3 is adjusted from this hole 20. For this balance adjusting work, a weight 21 made of a metallic plate (e.g. copper plate) is stuck by adhesive or the like to the bottom surface of the rotary drum 3, i.e., the attaching surface of a magnetic head 7. This weight 21 is stuck to a proper position considering the arrangement or the like of the magnetic head 7, the entire weight balance of the rotary drum 3 is adjusted to be smoothly rotated, and stable recording/ reproducing is carried out. This balance adjusting work is easily carried out through the hole 20 even after the complete assembling of the rotary head drum device 1.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the load that a tape receives and to enable stable traveling by applying a lubricant of the same kind as a lubricant contained in the magnetic powder of the tape or approximate thereto on a surface activated by irradiation of the contact surface with the resin molded tape with UV rays, thereby executing chemical bonding. SOLUTION: A shaft rod 22 of a drum 8 housed in a UV irradiation device 20 is rotated at a low speed and the drum is subjected to the activation treatment by uniformly irradiating the entire peripheral surface thereof with the UV rays of a short wavelength from a UV lamp 21. Next, the activated drum 8 is immersed into a lubricant soln. 24 prepd. by using the lubricant identical or similar to the lubricant contained in the magnetic powder of the magnetic tape and is thus coated prior to stabilizing of the surface. Consequently, the lubricant is chemically bonded as an intermediate group to the activated surface and the film of the lubricant of an extremely thin film below 100 nm is formed. The more than needed lubricant is wiped away by cloth, etc., after drying. As a result, only the film of the chemically bonded lubricant remains and the improvement in image quality and voices is achieved.

The unit 10 functions as a wide angle lens on the 0 deg. condition, and the unit 11 functions as a standard lens on the 0 deg. condition, and functions as a telephoto lens on 180 deg. condition, respectively.
