    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform recording or reproducing processing of information while using plural recording media by effectively utilizing an interface in inexpensive and simple configuration. SOLUTION: A memory stick 70 can be loaded on an optical disk device 20 for recording and/or reproducing the information to an optical disk 10 so that the plural recording media can be used for one recording medium processor. This optical disk device 20 is connected with a computer by an ATA interface, for example. The optical disk device 20 is set as a master side and while another device is not connected to a slave side, the memory stick 70 loaded on the optical disk device 20 is assigned as the slave side. Even without a space for extending a new device as the slave side, the interface can be effectively utilized.
