    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled mixed fine particles having high activity, high sintering properties at low temps., and high purity by mixing an Sn compd. and a Ti compd., adding a Ba salt to the mixture, and allowing the mixture to react in a strongly alkaline aq. soln. CONSTITUTION:An Sn compd. or its hydrolysate and a Ti compd. or its hydrolysate are mixed in a specified ratio. SnCl4, Sn(NO3)4, etc. are used as the Sn compd., and the hydrolysate is obtained by hydrolyzing the aq. soln. of said Sn compd. with an alkaline soln. such as NH4OH. Meanwhile, TiCl4, Ti(SO4)2, etc. are used as the Ti compd., and its hydrolysate is obtained by hydrolyzing the aq. soln. of said Ti compd. with an alkaline soln. such as NH4OH. A Ba salt [Ba(NO3)2, etc.] is added to the mixture in 0.7-2.0mol ratio of Ba/(Sn+Ti), and the mixture is allowed to react at >=about 13pH and about 80 deg.C for >=5min. The formed precipitate is then washed, and dried to obtain the fine particles wherein BaTiO3 fine particles and BaSn(OH)6 fine particles are mixed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To develop a capacitor having a large electrostatic capacity by utilizing SrTiO3 having a high dielectric constant as the dielectric of the capacitor in a compound integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:An Au layer 2 is formed on a substrate 1 made of ceramic or glass by a vapor deposition method, etc., and the Au layer is masked with a photoresist and partially etched. The surface is covered with a Ti metal 3 by vapor deposition, spattering, etc., and the Ti metal is masked again with the photoresist and etched to form a Ti layer 3 on the Au layer 2. Then the Ti layer is chemically treated with an aq. alkaline soln. contg. >=0.1mol/l Sr whose pH is regulated to >=13 to convert the Ti layer 3 into an SrTiO3 layer. An Au electrode 5 to be used as an opposite electrode is formed thereon to form a capacitor having a large electrostatic capacity wherein an SrTiO3 layer 4 having a high dielectric constant is used as the dielectric.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the occurrence of the deterioration and cracks of a grown crystal, by annealing a grown single crystal part with a subheater unit in a seed crystal growing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A seed crystal of a single crystal is mounted on a platinum plate 78 joined flexibly to an alumina rod 77 provided at the tip of a rotating and driving shaft 72, and a raw polycrystalline material 83 is mounted on a rotating and driving shaft 73. The rotating and driving shafts 72 and 73 are set to position the joined part of the seed crystal to the polycrystalline material 83 at a focus (E2) of an infrared heating chamber 2, and the joined part is heated by infrared rays 5 from a lamp 3 in a molten state. The rotating and driving shafts 72 and 73 are slowly lowered while rotated and driven mutually in the opposite directions, and a molten part 84 of a material 4 to be treated is relatively lifted. Thus, a single crystal part 80 is grown under the molten part 84 and introduced into a heat generating part 14 of a subheater unit 13 gradually and annealed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a target fine in crystal particle diameter and free from composition segregation by molding an alloy powder manufactured by the gas atomizing method to produce an alloy target. SOLUTION: Co, Pt and Cr, which are adjusted to a desired target composition ratio, are mixed and melted in a vacuum melting furnace. The molten mixture is continuously ejected to a granulating chamber 2 through a nozzle 5 and atomized with a jetting gas from a gas introducing port 6. Spherical particles 7 are formed by cooling during falling down. The spherical particles 7 further fall down to a container 4 through a cyclone 3 to be stored. The alloy target is produced by molding the alloy powder 7 manufacturef by gas atmizing method in this way. As a result, a metallic magnet target uniformly low all over in magnetic permeability is produced.
