    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing plushy artificial leather having, at the same time, elasticity of the leather and durability in plushiness of the leather surface. SOLUTION: This method for producing artificial leather excellent in elasticity is characterized by laminating webs (A) formed from a fiber having =15% boiling water shrinkage factor so as to clasp the web (B) by the webs (A), performing needle-punching to entangle each other, processing with shrinking treatment, adding an elastic polymer, coagulating in wet phase or dry phase, cutting into two parts in the thickness direction, raising a nap on the surface formed by the web (A), treating with 100-140 deg.C hot water in a jet dyeing machine and removing the entangled layer composed mainly of the web (B).
