Abstract:
A waterproof, floatable and dockable remote control for controlling portable spa functions comprising a waterproof touch screen display and a sealed battery housing containing a battery rechargeable by wireless power transfer wherein the remote communicates over a wireless link with a spa-based controller and employs a graphic display system designed to maintain graphics responsiveness while extending battery life.
Abstract:
An automatic head care system capable of reliably caring, such as kneading and washing, or massaging, an entire occipital region with the occipital region securely supported is realized. By a method using an automatic head care system including an occipital region care unit having an occipital region contact unit and a pair of care arms having head contact units, when the care arms care a head except for an occipital region, the occipital region contact unit of the occipital region care unit supports the occipital region, and when the occipital region care unit cares the occipital region, the head contact units of the care arms support the head.
Abstract:
A sock has an inner material or surface that causes skin on portions of the human foot, which are covered by the sock, to be exfoliated while the sock is worn. Massaging elements and/or magnetic elements on the sock causes the human foot to be massaged and/or be subjected to a magnetic field, respectively when the sock is worn. The sock includes an upper cuff portion that enables the sock to fit snuggly around the portions of the human foot, which are covered by sock. The upper cuff portion includes a string and/or an elastic material that enables the upper cuff portion to fit snugly. The massaging elements and/or magnetic elements may be located along an interior and/or exterior portion of the sock and/or may be located so that they protrude inside the sock and also outside sock. A toe portion of the sock covers an area around the toes.
Abstract:
This invention, Pedi-Massaggio , enables anyone to benefit from the stimulating effects of a walk on a pebble beach in the comfort of their home (shower) via the stimulating effects of the sole of the feet.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a vibroacoustic sound therapeutic system including an acoustic energy source having means for generating an acoustic drive signal, the acoustic drive signal being characterized by a frequency sweep between a relatively low frequency and a relatively high frequency, and one or more acoustic transducers adapted for operation in a liquid medium, the transducers being responsive to the acoustic drive signal to generate acoustic energy at frequencies corresponding to frequencies of the acoustic drive signal.
Abstract:
A water pressure driven massage apparatus for massaging portions of the human body includes a housing adapted to be placed in an ordinary shower enclosure while a user is in the shower. A water pressure operated power device is rotatably mounted in the housing, and a shower water diverter valve selectively delivers water under pressure to a nozzle that directs a jet of water to impinge upon and rotatively drive the water pressure operated power device. The power device is connected to a gear reduction drive train that converts the rotary motion of the water pressure operated power device to reciprocal motion A rod extends through the housing of the massage apparatus, and the rod is reciprocally driven by the gear reduction drive train. The outer end of the reciprocating rod is adapted to be attached to, or configured into the shape of, a variety of massaging devices.
Abstract:
A SPA machine includes a housing provided with a water sprayer, a water pump mounted in the housing for pumping water out of the water sprayer, and a pressure-balancing watertight electric control device formed of a box, watertight buttons, an electric control unit, a watertight panel and a locating frame and mounted the housing for controlling the operation of the water pump and having a variable inside space automatically regulated subject to the external water pressure to prevent water penetration and to avoid electric leakage.
Abstract:
A neoplasm cell destruction device utilizing low frequency sound waves to disrupt or displace cellular materials in neoplastic cells so as to damage and ultimately destruct the neoplastic cells without destructing surrounding healthy cells and thereby eliminating the need for target finding apparatus. The device includes a plurality of signal generators, a controller, a plurality of amplifiers, a plurality of transducers, and a target interface. The controller is in electrical communication with, and generates timing and control signals for simultaneously activating, the plurality of signal generators. Each amplifier is in electrical communication with a respective signal generator and amplifies the signal generated by the respective signal generator so as to form an amplified signal. Each transducer is in electrical communication with a respective amplifier and is driven by the amplified signal formed by the respective amplifier. The target interface combines the waveform formed by the plurality of transducers to form an interference wave which is a low frequency sound wave.
Abstract:
A massage apparatus with a removable battery compartment having a control panel for controlling the operation of the apparatus is disclosed. The massage apparatus comprises a main body operatively engaged to at least one massage actuator for providing a massage function. The main body is adapted to be operatively engaged to the removable battery compartment for providing power and control function to the at least one massage actuator. Once the removable battery compartment is operatively engaged to the main body, the control panel becomes operational and allows a user to control the operation of the massage apparatus when the removable battery compartment is operatively engaged to the main body.
Abstract:
An aquatic stabilizing apparatus for use in therapeutic environments is presented. The invention comprises a buoyant, lightweight orthotic apparatus having a waistband having a handle for use by a therapist, bilateral upper leg rods, knee attachment members for reversibly affixing the upper leg rods t a patient, and, optionally, bilateral lower leg extension rods and ankle attachment members.
