Abstract: A housing configuration for a liquid filter in which the housing is cup-shaped and is produced by a molding technique. The housing lid or lid is secured to the housing ( 10 ) by a course of threads ( 28 ) which can be produced without forming any undercuts. This is achieved inside an area ( 30 ) around the mold parting plane ( 29 ) by providing recesses ( 31 ) on the course of threads in the horizontal areas. As a result, the thread can be produced directly on the housing by the initial molding technique without any post-molding processing measures, so that manufacturing costs are reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter where a forged screw with a large pitch is formed on a screw fitting part to enable instantaneous unscrewing and disassembly of the outer tube case; this enables the outer tube case part to be used again without being discarded; as a result, the number of components to be discarded is reduced as much as possible; and only oil, rubber packing, and paper filter element part require replacement; and the oil filter itself contributes to reduction of recycle cost.
SOLUTION: In this oil filter 10, a cylindrical lid part and a cylindrical body part are screwed to each other, and a filter element is mounted in them in the axial direction. The oil filter is structured such that the lid part 1 and the body part are made of iron; screw threads of the lid part and the body part are constructed from forged screws; a plurality of protrusions are provided on a line extended from a pitch line of the male screw thread of the lid part; the male screw thread has a plurality of discontinuous parts; each discontinuous part has a protrusion; and the female screw thread of the body part also has a plurality of discontinuous parts.

Abstract: During the process of compressing air, atmospheric air along with water vapor and airborne contaminants are ingested into the air compressor. Many of these compressors utilize oil for lubrication, sealing and cooling. A compressor system utilizes drain valves to remove the condensate that accumulates in the system which are typically located on the compressor, moisture separators, coalescing filters, receivers, dryers, and drip legs. While the drain valves successfully remove the condensate, this condensate is now contaminated with lubricant. The compressor system also includes a filter for the removal of lubricant from the condensed water so that the water can be discharged to sewer. The filter is arranged to house a series of vertically stacked filter cartridges, each cartridge structured to pass fluid flow to the other cartridge. The housing includes a series of outlets having removable covers that, when removed, permit discharge of filtered water.
