Abstract:
Safety device (10, 1 10, 210) to prevent the sudden closing of a movable element, such as a closing element of a piece of furniture or a door, comprising a lever mechanism (20, 120, 220) which in turn comprises an actuation lever (11, 11 1, 211), which can rotate with respect to a pin (12, 112, 215) between an open position and a clamping position, or alternatively, a closed position. A first elastic member (25, 125, 225) able to apply a first elastic force (R1) and a second elastic member (30, 130, 230) able to apply a second elastic force (R2), less than the first elastic force (R1), act on the mechanism lever (20, 120, 220).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A device for preventing a door with an automatic locking mechanism from locking and for propping a door in an open position is provided. The device includes a bar with a first surface and an opposing second surface. One or more magnets are connected to the first surface by glue. A foam layer is also connected to the first surface.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vehicle body part (1) which is pivotally mounted relative to a stationary vehicle body section (2) and is connected to an output shaft (4) of a rotary drive unit (3). A variable mechanical limit stop (5) is provided for adjusting a maximum opening angle between the vehicle body part (1) and the vehicle body section (2).
Abstract:
An overhead door track system has a roller stop integrally formed with a track member to prevent the rollers of an overhead door from moving off the track. A back hang angle is secured to the horizontal track member forward of the roller stop.
Abstract:
A stopping device to prevent swing doors or windows from closing completely or any framework hinged on one side to close completely on an opposite side. The stopping device involves a rotatable wheel or cylinder made of shock absorbing material that can be readily be displaced from a rest position to enable the ease in closing the door or window without having to remove the stopping device from its mounted position.
Abstract:
A hinge (20, 120) for pivotably mounting a panel (14) to a vehicle body (12) includes a panel attachment plate (22, 122) securable to the panel, a body attachment plate (24, 124) securable to the vehicle body, and an intermediate member (32, 132) pivotably attached between the body and panel attachment plates. The intermediate member has opposite sidewalls (32a, 132a) and a center flange (32b, 132b) extending therebetween. The sidewalls engage the body attachment plate with the center flange spaced from the plate when the intermediate member is pivoted such that the sidewalls are positioned generally along the plate. The intermediate member may include stop members (38, 138) for limiting pivotal movement of the panel attachment plate at different positions by being cut to different sizes during manufacture of the hinge. The body attachment plate (124) may provide a hinge portion (124b) that provides enhanced structural rigidity to the hinge.
Abstract:
A control system for electric motor drive of an object (door leaf) movable to and fro between two end positions, with a motor-driven output member to which is connected a slide movable along a track and coupled to the object, both end positions of which are detected by the control system and the movement cycle of which is reproduced at least in sections by means of an increment detector allocated to the drive motor, said control system having a stop device allocated to the drive for the purposes of further simplification and especially adjustment by the user of the door, which marks an end position of the object - opening of the door leaf - and against which the object in this position - door leaf open - encounters a reference point by means of which the control part of the drive motor forms a switch-off signal and a pulse storage device is set at a certain value representing the start of a pulse train which produces the travel of the object between the end positions and which is compared for coincidence with the number of pulses produced by the increment detector on the movement of the object into the opposite end position - door leaf closed - in the course of said cycle of movement, when they are reached, a switch-off signal for the drive motor is again generated, whereby the pulse sequence is entered during the installation of the object - door leaf - into the pulse storage device in that, after the object has been moved by hand into the end position with the stop device - door leaf open - the beginning of the pulse sequence is marked from this point, whereupon the object is moved by hand into the opposite position - door leaf closed - and the number of pulses generated by the increment detector is entered in the pulse storage device as a travel-imitating pulse sequence.
