Abstract:
A device for dividing a laser beam (1), e.g. into parallel equidistant beams (12) includes a glass plate (2) with two opposing planar, parallel surfaces. A transmission grating (3) is arranged on one glass surface. A reflecting layer (4) is applied over the grating (3), and an opening (5) is arranged in the layer (4) at half the length of the plate, for taking the beam (1), which is to be divided, to and through the grating. The laser wave-length and the grating line density are selected to give total reflection at the free surface of the glass for a beam (11) diffracted at the opening (5) of the grating (3). By altering the angle of incidence //c of the beam (1), the distance a between the subdivided beams can be continuously varied within given limits. The device is also utilizable for combining a plurality of separate beams into a single beam.

An optical power meter according to an embodiment of the present invention is an optical power meter for a WDM-PON and includes: a filter unit for dividing an inputted optical signal into the optical signals of two or more bands according to a wavelength; a switch unit for sequentially transmitting the optical signal separated by the filter unit; an arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) for multiplexing the optical signal inputted from the switch unit to a plurality of channels according to a plurality of periodic transmission wavelength characteristics; and a photo detection unit including a plurality of photodetectors converting the optical signal into an electric signal by being connected to each channel.

본 실시예에 의한 라만 분광 신호 처리 방법은 광대역 여기광을 타겟 샘플에 조사하여 제1 분해능의 라만 분광을 획득하는 단계와, 제1 분해능의 라만 분광에 상응하는 라만 분광 신호를 연산하는 단계와, 라만 광 신호를 디컨벌루션 연산하여 제1 분해능 보다 높은 제2 분해능의 라만 분광에 상응하는 신호를 연산하는 단계를 포함한다.
