Abstract: The present invention comprises a method and apparatus for controlling user to join a session, the system can control the joining of anonymous user in PoC session and the rejoining of ejected user. The present invention realizes transmitting request of ejecting user from client side to control server in PoC session. The request takes the synchronous source identifier or nickname or anonymous user common identifier of need ejecting user. The control server searches the corresponding PoC address according to the received synchronous source identifier or nickname or anonymous user common identifier, then ejects the need ejecting user from the session according to the PoC address. The authoritative user can control the join of others users, especially the anonymous user, according to the need in PoC session. The solution can ensure the management of session order. The control server auto-rejects the rejoining of ejected user by the rejection list and the rejection strategy in the rejection list. The solution can avoid annoyance of these users to the PoC session, and can increase the user service experience.
