Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech apparatus capable of transmitting sound of only particular information by interruption to a user using an earphone or a headphone. SOLUTION: The speech apparatus is inserted between a sound source unit (e.g. a DVD unit 14) for outputting an acoustic signal with arbitrary contents and a reproducing apparatus 24 for reproducing an output of the sound source unit. The speech apparatus includes: an interruption sound reception circuit 32 for externally receiving prescribed interruption sound; and an interruption control circuit 33 that receives an audio signal 41 outputted from the sound source unit and an interruption sound signal 42 outputted from the interruption sound reception circuit, and selects its output signal so that the control circuit 33 outputs the output of the interruption sound reception circuit to a succeeding circuit when the output of the interruption sound reception circuit 33 is valid, and outputs the output of the speech apparatus 16 to the reproducing apparatus 24 when the output of the interruption sound reception circuit 32 is invalid. SOLUTION: The arrestor is provided with a bushing 2, and has a taper inner surface 53b that expands in a circular conic way from the front-end of the bushing 2 toward the back-end, and an upper insertion hole 51a and lower insertion hole 52a are in communication via this taper inner surface 53b. A high-pressure shield body 4 has a shield main body 41, and the taper inner surface 53b is arranged so that it may be positioned inside the back-end side end of the sidewall 41a. The arrestor mold 6 has an arrestor element lamination 61 that is a plurality of arrestor elements 61a laminated whose main ingredient is zinc oxide, and at the outer periphery of the arrestor element lamination 61, a rubber mold 67 is provided that is composed of silicon rubber, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical drop cable which prevents the disconnection of an optical fiber by a cicada surely, and moreover whose manufacturing is easy, and in which there is no inconvenience, such as high cost, the reduction of property in taking out the core wire. SOLUTION: In an optical drop cable 100 which has a cable body 10 equipped with; a secondary coated optical fiber 11; first and second tensile strength bodies 12a, 12b arranged in parallel at a spacing on both sides of the secondary coated optical fiber 11; and a sheath 13 which covers them correctively, and whose cross section is roughly rectangular, and a support wire part 20 equipped with a support wire 21 supporting the cable body 10, the 1st and 2nd slit-shaped notches 14a, 14b whose each tip reaches near the secondary coated optical fiber 11 are provided at positions forming roughly opposite angles where hold the coated optical fiber 11 there between on the surface of the sheath 13 of the cable body 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a manufacturing apparatus for a low-loss optical fiber, whose structure is simpler and whose working efficiency is higher than those with a conventional technology. SOLUTION: An optical fiber is accepted as a product when disappearance of the peak of absorption of the wavelength of 630 nm band by non-cross linked oxygen defect (NBOHC) appearing before a deuterium processing is confirmed on the deuterium processing. The confirmation is performed by measuring a transmission loss in the range of wavelengths from 600 nm to 1,100 nm at every prescribed time interval or at arbitrary times during the deuterium processing, or by continuously measuring the transmission loss during the deuterium processing by making light incident from a single light source having 630 nm. By performing the above confirmation, a conventional hydrogen processing is unnecessary and a step of manufacturing the low-loss optical fiber is made remarkably efficient. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable laying method and a cable laying apparatus arranged such that cable laying information can be acquired easily using an IC tag or extra information can be inputted. SOLUTION: In the cable laying method, an IC tag 16 recording predetermined cable laying information prepared at the time of laying a cable is stuck, at a predetermined timing, to a cable 11 being fed out and laid at the lead out opening. The cable laying apparatus implementing that method comprises a device 12 for feeding out the cable 11 being laid, and a device 14 arranged in the vicinity of the feeding device 12 and sticking an IC tag 16 recording predetermined cable laying information prepared at the time of laying the cable, at a predetermined timing, to the cable. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote the prevention of damages to an insulator, withstand voltage defect, cross contact and deterioration in electric characteristics caused by pressure at the time of connector pressure contact, flexure or bending or the like during installation. SOLUTION: In this twisted-pair cable, the twisted-pair wires 1 are composed of two twisted insulated core wires 6 which are composed of conductors 61 such as annealed copper twisted wires, tin coated annealed copper twisted wires or the like having flexibility, and which are installed with an insulator 62 around the outer periphery, wherein four pairs of twisted-pair wires 1 are twisted at respectively different pitches. The insulator 62 composing the twisted-pair wires 1 is composed of a foaming layer 62a composed of a polyethylene resin with a foaming ratio of 30 to 70% which is installed at the outer periphery of the conductor 61, and a skin layer 62b composed of a high density polyethylene resin with the thickness of 0.03 to 0.06 mm which is installed at the outer periphery of the foaming layer 62a, while the core outer diameter of the insulated core wire 6 as a whole is made to be 1.0 mm or less.
