Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant exterior fence capable of being constructed even in a narrow place, and a method for constructing the earthquake-resistant exterior fence.SOLUTION: An earthquake-resistant exterior fence comprises a steel pipe pile 1 that is driven into the ground, a vertical support 2 that is fixed to the steel pipe pile 1, and a fence member 4. The fence member 4 and the vertical support 2 are coupled together by infilling a filler between the fence member 4 and the vertical support 2 and solidifying the filler. Base concrete and a buttress can be dispensed with, and the earthquake-resistant exterior fence can be constructed even in a narrow place. Possession of vertical and horizontal great strength can prevent the earthquake-resistant exterior fence from collapsing due to earthquakes.
