    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide filter cloth causing little looseness, partial tension, or wrinkle at a protruded part of a filter press of compression type wherein some protruded parts are formed near a raw liquid inlet port of an ordinal filter plate. SOLUTION: When forming integrated structure by stitching two sheets of filter cloth by cylindrical connection cloth 8, cloth woven into soft structure is used as the connection cloth 8, and formed in a bias cutting. In a dimension in the length direction of a cylindrical body, the cylindrical body is formed by changing the dimension in part or in whole of a section in the circumferential direction. Both edge parts in the cylinder length direction of the cloth 8 are sewn to the periphery of the hole serving as the raw liquid hole formed in the two sheets of the filter cloth so as to correspond to the shape of protrusion parts when mounting to the filter plate.
