Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for filtration and separation which eliminates backwashing of and clogging of filter members used for separation and filtration of floating or suspended particles in filtration. SOLUTION: The filtration prevents the clogging of the filter members adjusted in shape of the filter members and in flow rate of a filtered air or liquid, and eliminates a backwashing step for the purpose of elimination of the backwashing of and clogging of the filter members in filtration. In particular, the filter members have rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal, and decagonal spindle shapes, have polygonal spindle frame bodies having an angle vertex partitioned at an interval of 25 mm to 100 mm, and having a width of 150 mm to 500 mm, a length of 300 to 1,500 mm, provided with flange portions for taking the air or liquid at both ends, and formed by winding filaments having a diameter of 0.003 to 0.05 mm around the frame body in parallel with each other into layers. The filtration method includes filtration of a liquid, wherein the filter members are positioned at an interval of 5 mm to 50 mm between filter membrane surfaces, and the liquid is made to flow into gaps between the filter membrane surfaces at a rate of 50 to 1,500 mm per second. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading technique for improving physical properties of a kneaded material by adding a fine linear material to a molten synthetic resin, a viscous liquid, or the like to promote kneading, stretching and orientation. SOLUTION: In the kneader which kneads kneaded material 2 consisting of two or more material having different physical properties in molten or solution states, at least four or more rotary bodies 3 having grooves or projections are linearly or staggeringly arranged at appropriate intervals in multistage to promote kneading, stretching and orientation. The rotary bodies 3 boost the kneading, stretching and orientation of the kneaded material and improve the physical properties of the material by changing their surface velocities in sequence. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of breaking and rupture by the expansion-contraction and bending in construction of a synthetic resin three-dimensional net-like drain pipe arranged on its road side and collecting and draining rainfall water in water permeable pavement of asphalt. SOLUTION: The synthetic resin three-dimensional net-like pipe of the drain pipe is constructed in the water permeable pavement of the asphalt. In manufacture, this drain material for stabilizing its dimension and freely bendable in the vertical direction, is formed as a countermeasure for preventing the expansion-contraction and rupture by integrally molding two straight line-shaped synthetic resin strips having the thickness of 1.5 times to 5 times a wire diameter of its constituting net-like body on its right and left as a rib. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter capable of easily obtaining much filtrate by energy-saved power from pollutant water of rivers, ponds, drinking juices, etc. SOLUTION: The filter has a filtration material consisting of a film type flat membrane having, as filtering pores, slit gaps of each distances of many superfine filaments. This filter is energy-saved, simple and high in performance, as compared with a filtration by a hollow-fiber separation membrane. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer useful for an improvement in living environment, which can easily supply clear daily life water similar to water of waterworks. SOLUTION: In the simple and precise strainer, a mass of single fibers of diameters ranging from 0.05 m/m to 0.005 m/m are stretched within the limits of tension elongation of the fibers, and laminated in parallel by homogeneous tension force without tangling, and fixed so as to provide a parallel-laminated fiber membrane in the form of a film so that slit gaps between the fibers are used as filtration apertures. While a filter material such as a flat hollow fiber membrane or the like carries out filtration by separation with the filtration apertures, the filtration performance of the strainer is drastically improved in comparison with the flat hollow fiber membrane by using a large number of fine slit gaps between the fibers. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for filtration which is simple in structure and easily producable and of which the openings for allowing a liquid or a gas to pass through can be easily formed in an arbitrary size according to the purpose of use or the like. SOLUTION: A filament body 1 having protruding knots 3 formed at suitable distances and integrally with a straight filament main body 2 is formed. A plurality of the filament bodies 1 are arranged in parallel or laminated so as to form minute openings 4 between the adjacent filament main bodies 2 by the protruding knots 3 and then attached to a support member 5. The diameter of the filament main body 2 in the filament body 1 can be set at 0.003-0.05 mm; the outer diameter of the protruding knot 3 can be set at 1.03-1.50 times the diameter of the filament main body 2; and the distance between the protruding knots 3 can be set by 5-100 times the diameter of the filament main body 2.
