Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for calculating a credit derivative index by a financial market participant. The objective of the present invention is to provide a system and a method capable of notifying a credit derivative index in public, by calculating the credit derivative index accurately reflecting the market situation and providing the calculated credit derivative index to a customer requiring the calculated credit derivative index, on the basis of asked data of market participants. In order to achieve the above objective, the system of the present invention includes: an asked data input part for receiving asked data of a market participant about a credit derivative index determined by consensus of market participants, from a user terminal of the market participant; a database construction part for receiving and storing the asked data from the asked data input part; a cleansing part which receives the database asked data from the database construction part and classifies the received asked data into normal asked data and abnormal asked data; and a credit derivative index calculation part for calculating a credit derivative index on the basis of the normal asked data classified through the cleansing part. The credit derivative index calculation part includes: a data removal module which classifies the normal asked data according to the number of data of the normal asked data, and removes a fixed number of data on the top and bottom from each classified asked data; and a credit derivative index calculation module which calculates the credit derivative index, by arithmetically averaging the asked data which is left after removal through the data removal module as target data.
