Abstract: PURPOSE: A separable brake disk of a brake system for a vehicle is provided to improve fuel efficiency by reducing its mass. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pressure generated in a master cylinder is applied to a piston and the piston is pushed. Brake pads on both sides are compressed on a brake disk so that the rotation of a brake disk is suppressed. The brake pads are compressed on cast iron facings(43,44) connected to both side faces of a main body of the brake disk. As friction heat is generated and transferred to the main body of the aluminum brake disk, a radiative characteristic is improved. Further, plural radiative holes are formed on the main body of the brake disk and the radiative characteristic is more promoted. Thus, the abrasion of the brake pad and facing are reduced.
