Abstract: PURPOSE: A bar code is provided to accurately price according to a weight of the product by adding a price code and a weight code to a lower portion of the bar code CONSTITUTION: A bar code includes a country/store identification code(10), a product item code(20), a price code(30), and a check digit(40). A price code(50) per unit gram is further provided to the bar code to accurately calculate the price with respect to the weight of the product. A total weight code(60) for the product to be sold is further provided to the bar code. Preferably, the price code(50) per unit gram and the total weight code(60) are formed on a back side of the check digit(540), and more preferably, corresponding to the check digit(40).
