Abstract: PURPOSE: An incombustible material composition is provided to retard curing time and to be used for manufacturing an incombustible board. CONSTITUTION: An incombustible material composition comprises 10-50 parts by weight of a hardener comprising metal salt and a retardant based on 100.0 parts by weight of sodium silicate. the metal salt is a salt of metal selected from Ca, Mg, Al, Ba and Zn. The conjugate based of the metal salt is one or more anions selected from hydroxide, halide ion, sulfate ion, sulfite ion, nitrate ion, nitrite ion, phosphate ion, carbonate ion and bicarbonate ion. The weight ratio of the metal salt of the hardener, and the retardant is 99:1-90:10.
