PURPOSE: A coding method with pixel units is provided to disassemble inputted information with pixel units to make the information a puzzle, to irregularly change locations, and to irregularly convert colors to code in multi stages, so as to make impossible to decode the information. CONSTITUTION: A screen input unit inputs information such as an image or text(401). A security code input unit inputs a security code(402). A random number generator or a random number map generator generates a random number map(403). The inputted image is normalized by controlling colors, resolution, critical values, and the size(404). The normalized image is disassembled to pixel units(405). Disassembled pixels are coded in multi stages(406). The inputted security code is coded to generate a code key(407). The code key is inserted into a coded image(408). The coded image is output(409).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Prints for preventing duplication and forgery of a video information encoded image according to representation of a latent image and a method for forming the prints are provided to easily judge a forgery. CONSTITUTION: A random number map is generated, and a security code is inputted. An image is inputted to a processor, and the color, size and region of the inputted image are adjusted and normalized. The normalized image is divided into R, G and B components using the random number map. The first coding of making each of the components a square puzzle is carried out. The second coding of imaging the coded information to a single-gradation map is performed. The third coding of combining the imaged information in unit of the basic components to make a square, triangle or circular puzzle or convert the basic components into a single pixel is executed. A coding key code is inserted into the coded image. Video information image is coded and inputted to a processor. Gradient correction, size correction and coding key code of the inputted image are extracted. The security code is inputted or extracted from the coded image. The image is decoded and restored.

PURPOSE: An encoding/decoding device and a method thereof for image data are provided to prevent the interference in the decoding by the lossy or hybrid compression after carrying out puzzle type coding for image data according to position information of the data, thereby preventing the data decoding if any exclusive decoder is not used. CONSTITUTION: A coding/decoding device for image data includes an image input part(210) for receiving digitalized image data or converting analog image data to digital image data, and a puzzle type encoder(220) for puzzling and encoding the image data input via the image input part by encoding keys, security keys, random number algorithm and the like. An image compression part(230) compresses the encoded image data by any one of lossy compression, lossless compression or hybrid compression. A compression releasing part(2430) releases the compression by carrying out the puzzle type encoding operation reversely. A reverse puzzle type decoding part(250) decodes the image data of which compression is released by using the encoding keys, the security keys, and the random number algorithm reversely. An image output part(260) outputs the decoded image data in the digital or analog form.
