Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite panel structure and a method for section-increasing and reinforcing an underwater concrete structure using the same, and more particularly, to a composite panel structure and a method for section-increasing and reinforcing an underwater concrete structure using the same wherein a form is replaced with the composite panel structure having a fiber reinforcing material, a metal plate and spacers so that construction is carried out directly without any temporary coffering work, thus preventing the metal plate from being corroded due to the direct exposure to water or air. Further, the unit composite panel structure is simply and rapidly connected to the neighboring composite panel structure without using any separate fixing members fixed to the underwater concrete structure, thus remarkably extending the degree of safety and the life span of the underwater concrete structure. According to the present invention, the composite panel structure includes a fiber reinforcing material (1); a metal plate (2) to which the fiber reinforcing material (1) is bonded; spacers (3) welded to the rear end of the metal plate to allow the rear end of the metal plate and the underwater concrete structure to be separated from each other and used as spacers and tension members during injection of a grouting material; and connectors (4) welded to the rear surface of the metal plate (2) to connect the neighboring unit composite panel structures.
