    Abstract: A method of regenerating water purification sludge is provided to prevent environmental contamination, to use ash of charcoal economically, and to recycle the water purification sludge as a construction material through a simple process. A method of regenerating water purification sludge comprises the following steps of: injecting 1,000kg of the water purification sludge in a furnace heated to 500~600°C; heating the injected water purification sludge for 3 hours; transferring the heated water purification sludge into a cooler; injecting 10~30kg of sericite in the water purification sludge; cooling a compound of the water purification sludge and the sericite; and regenerating the water purification sludge by maintaining the water purification sludge to room temperature.
