    Abstract: A device for restraining an animal comprises a leash 3 having a first end (4, fig 1) and a second end 5. The first end is attachable to a fastening (6, fig 1) and the second end is attachable to a handle 7. The handle defines a loop 8 having a gate 9 which is operable to transition between an open position in which the leash is passable through the gate and a closed position in which the leash is not passable through the gate thus allowing the device to be secured to a pot or the like. The gate is pivotable 10 and may be biased to the closed positioned. The device may further be provided with a locking sleeve (fig 8) and fixing means (fig 6) movable along the length of the leash. The leash may be retractable into the handle.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a colour selector for four-colour offset printing and the method for producing it. This method consists in dividing the visible spectrum into a plurality of separate hues and in determining the density proportions of yellow, red and blue dots needed to create colour samples 13 for each separate hue; a series of samples 13 of progressively lighter tints associated with each separate hue are created by means of a graduated reduction in each of the densities of yellow, red and blue dots; a series of samples 13 of shades are created by adding a proportion of black-dot density to each separate hue and to all the graduated lighter tints created from the latter; and a series of samples 13 of progressively darker shades are produced by increasing the density proportions of black dots in stages in all the graduated lighter tints.     Abstract: A snap in weatherstripping where the backing has a plurality of alternating notched out spaces along each side to facilitate ease of insertion into a channel without the need to slide the weatherstripping longitudinally into the channel. The snap in weatherstripping can be pushed into the channel with a gentle side to side or rolling motion, thus eliminating the difficulties associated with longitudinally sliding a weatherstripping into a channel. The snap in arrangement of the weatherstripping eases replacement, and also accommodates variations in tolerance between the weatherstripping and the channel, making it desirable for replacement of existing degraded weatherstripping.
