Abstract:
The present invention relates to stable combined dispersions of at least one dithiocarbamate fungicide and at least one acid-based pesticide, and/or derivative thereof in a liquid carrier, wherein said dispersion is stabilized by inclusion of at least one organic phosphoric acid ester-based compatibility agent and wherein said dispersion is characterized by an improvement in the stability, compatibility, and suspensibility of the dispersion defined by a reduction in the rate and/or extent of phase separation and/or sedimentation. The invention further relates to methods for preparing and using said combined dispersions and methods for identifying useful organic phosphoric acid ester-based compatibility agents.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solid composition comprising (1) a guest/host molecular structure comprising tau-fluvalinate and cyclodextrin, and (2) at least one agriculturally acceptable filler. The present invention also relates to an oil-in-water emulsion comprising (1) a guest/host molecular structure comprising tau-fluvalinate and cyclodextrin, and (2) at least one agricultural dispersing agent. The present invention further relates to method of use and processes of preparation of the solid compositions and oil-in-water emulsions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a suspension concentrate (SC) composition comprising a) cymoxanil and b) a buffering system; wherein the buffering system has an effective pH range of 2-5. Optionally, the composition further comprises at least one additional pesticide, at least one agriculturally acceptable carrier and/or additives.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for preparing a compound having the formula (I): wherein R is alkyl or alkylaryl; each of X1, X2, X3, X4 and X5 is, independently, H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkylthio, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, alkyl carbonyl, hydroxyalkyl, ester, acid, halogen, -SH, -OH, -NH2, -NO2, -CN or CF3; Y is O or S; and and Z is a halogen.
Abstract:
A method of detecting a presence, amount and/or type of a pathogenic organism in a substrate is provided. The method is effected by contacting a sample suspected as containing the pathogenic organism or a portion thereof with an electrode, thereafter contacting the electrode with an aptamer that selectively binds to said pathogenic organism; thereafter contacting the electrode with an agent that participates in an electrochemically detectable reaction and thereafter perform the electrochemical reaction while using the electrode. The electric signal produced by the reaction is indicative of a presence and/or amount of the pathogenic organism. Also provided are a sensing system and kits usable for practicing the method, and use of the method for determining a suitable agent for reducing a load of a pathogenic organism in a substrate.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for preparing pyrazole derivative 3-bromo- 5-methyl- 1-H- pyrazole- N-2-chloropyridine (compound of Formula I) by reacting of a compound of Formula II with halogen substituted pyridine optionally in the presence of base and organic solvent or by decarboxylation of pyrazole carboxylic acid of Formula XI in the presence of acid. In addition, provided a method of preparation of synthetic precursors of Formula II, Formula IV, Formula V, Formula VI, Formula XI, and a method of preparing a compound of Formula VII comprising reacting a compound of Formula I with an oxidant optionally in the presence of a catalyst. Also disclosed a compound of Formula I as useful synthetic precursor for preparation of anthranilamide of Formula VIII.
