Abstract: 1309412 Weeding and cultivating tool M E ADAMS 21 July 1970 [23 July 1969] 35255/70 Heading A1B A hand tool comprises a pair of disc-like cutting blades 44, 46, secured together at adjacent edges, a handle connection 50 fixed to these adjacent edges, the blades having continuous cutting edges 40, 48 around their open peripheries, and each blade extending at a slight downward angle from the connection. The tool may be formed from a sheet metal blank or may be made up from two halves. The leading and trailing edges 52, 63, of the handle connection have cutting edges. The disc-like blades may be of polygonal shape and may be flat or concave.
