Abstract:
The invention is a method of managing writing operation in a flash memory intended to be embedded in an electronic token. The flash memory has an interface comprising a plurality of connection pads and is attached to a lead frame. Said method comprises the following steps: - generating a set of contact areas (ALE, nWE, I/O0, I/07, VCC, GND) on the lead frame, each of said contact areas being directly bound to one connection pad of the flash memory, - taking the control of the memory interface, sending physical data to the memory interface through the contact areas, - writing the physical data in the flash memory, - removing the set of contact areas from the lead frame by a punch operation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and device to use a locked mobile terminal with a new subscription. This method is based on presentation of several IMSI and detection of an IMSI with valid MCC and/or MNC code replaced by another IMSI so that the end-user can use his new SIM card with the locked mobile terminal. An application implementing such a method is disclosed as well
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention aims to provide a connector for smart card comprising at least five contact pads, which are wire-bonded to chip terminals for receiving determined signals, said connector being specifically dedicated to one application, so that smart card can exchange data only with a specific adapted handset and vice versa. For that, the wiring of at least two contact pads is reversed with respect to the ISO 7816 standard.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a subscriber identity module (1) comprising at least one integrated circuit, said subscriber identity module (1) comprising a web server module (11) accessible by or through a terminal (2) via a first data transfer protocol (P1), characterized in that said subscriber identity module (1) further comprises a storage device (12) for storing data generated by means of said terminal (2) and a blog management module (10) defining an interface for selecting among the data stored in the storage device (12) selected data which are accessible by or through said terminal (2) via the first data transfer protocol (P1).
Abstract:
Secure authentication to a remote server including transmitting login credentials from the secure storage device to the remote server. Transmitting from the secure storage device to the host computer a server list containing a list of servers available for secure authentication using the secure storage device. Using the list to establish a connection from the host to the remote server and to request the secure storage device to present the login credentials to the remote server. Transmitting from the secure storage device the login credentials and a login software module to the host computer. The login software module is automatically executed on the host computer to fill in the login page and to cause the transmission of the filled-in login page from the host computer to the remote server.
Abstract:
A portable object with mass storage memory, comprising: - a FLASH-type non-volatile re-writable data memory (19), - a controller (17) connected to control operation of the memory (19), said controller (17) carrying out byte writing/reading operations and block erasing operations, - a plurality of electrical contacts (15) on an outside surface of the portable object, and - a SIM function (21 ) connected to the controller (17), said SIM function (21 ) being accessible through said electrical contacts (15) and being able to control the memory controller (17) by means of byte writing/reading and block erasing commands (COM), said SIM function receiving instructions (INS) and comprising a file manager to associate a byte writing/reading or a block erasing command (COM) with the received instruction if such an access to the memory (19) is allowed.
Abstract:
A mobile device and UICC communication using standard Internet protocols. Such communication allows users access to their UICC information using standard web browsers and allows use of the UICCs to communicate with remote servers and thereby provide secure services for Internet transactions. The mobile device has a communications module to selectively communicate with the UICC processor or with at least one node on a network, the mobile device communications module has an Internet protocol module operable to receive messages issued from a first Internet application as Internet protocol packets, and to transmit the packets to target IP addresses; and operable to receive Internet protocol packets, to process the packets, and to send the messages contained in the packets to the first Internet application.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a method for checking the information to be printed on at least one intermediate support manufactured to be used for printing an image on a final support, the image being defined by an image file, comprising the steps of: deriving a production file from a prepress file created from a plurality of elementary files to visually match the image file, said production file containing data used by a production machine for manufacturing an intermediate support used for printing that image on the final support, characterized in that it includes the further steps of : deriving a test image from the production file before using it ; and comparing said test image with that to be obtained on the final support and pointing out any difference between them.
Abstract:
The invention is a method of managing communication between an electronic token and a remote web server. The token and the server are connected to a same host machine. The token comprises first and second token servers and a memory comprising HTML data. The host machine has an Internet web browser. Said method comprises the steps of : - sending a first request from the Internet web browser to the first token server, - returning a first answer to the Internet browser, said first answer comprising HTML data including a connection information associated to a script, - on the Internet web browser, executing the script associated to the connection information. Script execution establishes a connection to the remote server allowing a two-way communication between the second token server and the remote server through the Internet browser acting as a gateway.
