A method is presented for neighbor discovery in a wireless multihop packet based communication network using Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) wherein the network is built up by client and/or server devices and/or infrastructure devices, network traffic is based on using NDP forwarding and rebroadcasting to locate devices in such a network architecture. The invention also includes devices for such a network and the complete communication system is described.

The invention relates to a device (1) for detachable connection of a wiring channel (2) adapted to accommodate wires etc., to a bracket which can be fixed to a surface (3), the connection being effected by means of fasteners (5, 6) insertable in grooves (7, 8) in the wiring channel (2) and engaging the wall (9) of a bracket member facing inwardly towards said channel (2). Since a fastener (6) is movable between a mounted position and a disengaged position, the distance (L , L ) between the fasteners (5, 6) located at the upper and lower parts respectively of the wall, can be varied to establish said connection and to bring about an engagement with said channel (2) and retain the latter in the mounted position (II).

The invention is characterized in that data packets are routed over transmission paths using the following steps providing link status information by acquiring link status quality between nodes in the network, updating a routing element (101) with said link status information, determining possible routes with essentially similar link quality status for said data packet, and routing said data packet via the determined routes.

The present invention relates to a system for efficient routing in a multiple hop wireless communication network comprising a plurality of network nodes is presented. The system comprises means (3001) for acquiring quality information indicating link status between said infrastructure nodes, means (3002) for using said link quality information in a route determination process in the infrastructure nodes using a predictive procedure, said link quality information containing information about a time varying information of said link status; and said predictive procedure uses said time varying information of link status in the predictive procedure; and routing means (101) for routing data packets according to a determined route.
