Abstract:
Waste disposal plant comprising a tank (3) for holding reactant substances (5) with a high carbon content; a tank (9) for holding dry products; a water pipe (20) for supplying the plant with water (21); a reactor (24) with a plasma torch (25); a logic control unit for channeling, to the reactor (24), controlled amounts of reactant substances, dry products and water (21), determining their disintegration through pyrolysis forming wastes (32) and a synthesis gas (31) having carbonaceous compounds, water vapour and oxygen contents measures through diagnostics means (36, 37, 39) arranged to intercept the synthesis gas (31) and controlled in feedback by the logic control unit through the controlled actuation of transport means and a valve (23) of the water pipe (20).
Abstract:
The disclosed invention relates to a method, an apparatus designed accordingly, to reduce and/or eliminate polluting exhausts components from combustion thermal-generator emissions comprising at least a combustion chamber and at least an fixed exhaust duct. An electric heating resistance able to be activated, following lighting of said combustion heat generator, so as to preheat a catalyst and burn particles deposited on a grille or particles of uncombusted products present initially in the exhaust gases.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for coagulation and dispersion of fog and an installation thereof, in particular a system for fog dispersal over automobile roads, highways, roundabouts, and rail roads. The process produces fog or mist particle coagulation using fields of sonic, ultrasonic or electromagnetic waves generated with a power density level and then projected to a selected area of an open space where they produce forces on particles and then movement of abovementioned particles, said movement producing coagulation and further aggregation.
Abstract:
The invention provides an automated multi-function desk for use in a post office, comprising a processor electrically coupled to each of: an input device operable by a user, a device for weighing items of postage, a device for capturing image, a visual display; the processor being configured to: (a) receive input from weighing device specifying the weighing of an object placed thereon; (b) receive input from image capturing device of an object placed thereon; (c) receive input from the input device specifying other necessary characteristic of the delivery; (d) process the image information in order to recognize dimensions, writing characters and/or symbols from the electronic image captured previously; (e) provide output to the visual display to show image, dimensions, writings and all recognized characteristic from the object placed thereon; and (f) operate the output device to supply storage of retrieved information for further operations such as printing, showing, analysing etc.
Abstract:
An integrated multi-function device comprising a processor electrically coupled to an input device operable by a user, a device for weighing items of postage, a device for capturing image, a visual display, a printing system, and a communication device. The processor is configured to receive input from the weighing device, the image capture and the input device. It processes and stores the image information captured, provides to the visual display output showing image, dimensions writings and all characteristic from an object placed the device.
Abstract:
According to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, an apparatus and method for distributed storing and retrieving of paper documents and their electronic means is disclosed. In this context, storing of documents refers to the efficient management of storage and document retrieval based not only on image but also on document contents means such as words, concepts, numbers etc. The preferred embodiments of the present invention provide for easy and effective indexing, storing, retrieving, searching and managing of paper-based documents and their contents. The proposed apparatus and method implement a desktop solution for filing which can be made available to each worker. Uniquely, the digital means filing system of the present invention allows user to index and label documents whenever desired prior of storing original in a file box which includes a memory device able to contain documents means such as image and contents in electronic format. Labeling of documents and file box by using either a dedicated desktop radio frequency identifier tag or printed labels. Operation of storing of documents in file box by using either a dedicated desktop radio frequency identifier tag or printed label to check and list contents. The most preferred embodiments of the present invention utilizes flash memory type unit and individual radio frequency identifier tags that are attached to the document and to the box and programmed once the filing procedure is successful. In an other preferred embodiment of the present invention the file box has memory module including a wireless communication device such as a blue-tooth able to internally check the presence of all memorized documents.
