Abstract:
The subject application is directed to a system and method for location-based document output scheduling. At least one electronic document is first received into an associated data storage. A map is generated on an associated display, which map includes indicia corresponding to alternative facility locations associated with a selected event. The map also includes indicia corresponding to locations of alternative document rendering devices corresponding to the facility. Device selection data is received from an associated user of at least one document rendering device selected from the alternative document rendering devices as well as temporal data corresponding to a time of the selected event. Operation of each selected document rendering device is commenced so as to render the at least one electronic document at a timing corresponding to the temporal data.
Abstract:
The subject application is directed to a document processing device and associated method for generating an informational display on a document processing device. The method includes receiving preselected media content and displaying the preselected media content on a display of the document processing device. The method further includes receiving user identification data and retrieving user-specified media content preference data identifying a user-specified media content preferred by a user associated with the user identification data. The method also includes displaying the user-specified media content on the display of the document processing device in response to receipt of a request to complete a document processing operation using the document processing device.
Abstract:
A system and method for managing healthcare information is disclosed. The data servers each include a data manager that comprises a controller, applications, an application manager, a virtual care team module, and a user interface engine. The controller manages the core functions and the transmission of data between data manager components. The applications are applications that are created by the user or downloaded as third-party applications. The application manager manages the creation and communication between applications. The virtual care team module manages the transmission of patient data between data servers. The user interface engine generates user interfaces for displaying the applications and collecting clinical trial data.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention describe arbitrating requests received from a plurality of agents for memory. Each memory request may indicate a priority level of the memory request and a size of the memory to be accessed. Said requests may be stored in a queue. Arbitration logic, coupled to the plurality of agents and the queue, may receive said memory requests and determine which requests to send to the queue based, at least in part, on the priority of each request and the size of the memory to be accessed by each memory request.

Abstract:
The subject application is directed to a system and method for generating a composite source user interface. A text query corresponding to a text element associated with a graphical element on a display of the associated user interface is first received by a backend component. The received text query data is then directed to a data document on the associated data storage. Text data is then received from the data document of the associated data storage. Thereafter, the received text data is then communicated to the associated user interface so as to generate indicia on the associated user interface. Preferably, the indicia includes a graphical element and the text data, such as, for example and without limitation, an icon and associated text, or the like.
Abstract:
A system and method which efficiently manages the status of resources or services in a document processing system or device and uses a priority-based dynamic allocation process for allocating or releasing selected resources for a user or task. A job resource manager receives resource requests containing a resource name, quantity and order of use. The resource manager then determines if the request meets predetermined parameters, so as to lock the designated resource for use by the job with which the request is associated. The resource is then released for use by the job and remains inaccessible to other jobs until unlocked. The resource is unlocked by the job resource manager upon receipt of notification that the job has been completed.
Abstract:
An embodiment of a system, method and apparatus is disclosed. The system comprises a first processor that is in communication with a root existence table. The first processor is to check the root existence table to determine if a character is a root character. A second processor is in communication with a root active list. The second processor is to retrieve an entry that corresponds to the character and to associate a pointer with the entry. A third processor is in communication with the second processor and a tree structure. The third processor is to receive the pointer from the second processor and to maintain the tree and table structure.
Abstract:
A system and method for managing healthcare information is disclosed. The data servers each include a data manager that comprises a controller, a grid engine, applications, an application manager and a user interface engine. The controller manages the core functions and the transmission of data between data manager components. The grid engine manages information sent between data servers. The applications are applications that are created by the user or downloaded as third-party applications. The application manager manages the creation and communication between applications. The user interface engine generates user interfaces for displaying the applications and collecting clinical trial data.
