    Abstract: Rebound net, for use in practising tennis, cricket, baseball and/or other games, having a surrounding frame (20-26) and a net (32) capable of being mounted in the frame (20-26), the net (32) being made of a tough, low-extensible material such as nylon with the threads of the net fastened together at their inter-sections, and a number of attachment clips (34) for fastening said net to the frame via a perimeter cord (33), when the attachment clips (34) are arranged around the frame, in such manner as to hold the net under tension sufficient to provide at least 80% rebound in a tennis ball when dropped upon a mid-portion of the net in horizontal position. The net is arranged so that the threads thereof, when the net is held in the frame under tension, extend from the bottom of the frame upwardly on opposite sides of a vertical centre line at equal angularity to that centre line. That is to say, for a net with a square mesh the diagonals of the mesh extend horizontally and vertically when the frame is in an upright operative position. Preferably, the attachment clips (34) permit of individual adjustment, or tuning, of the net tension at the different locations of the clips.

    Abstract: Un filet de rebond utilisé pour s'entraîner au tennis, au cricket, au base-ball et/ou à d'autres jeux, se compose d'un cadre (20-26) et d'un filet (32) pouvant être monté autour du cadre (20-26), le filet (32) étant constitué d'un matériau résistant, peu extensible, tel le nylon, les mailles du filet étant attachées à leurs intersections, et des attaches (34) sont prévues pour attacher le filet au cadre par l'intermédiaire d'une corde périmétrique (33). Les attaches (34) sont disposées autour du cadre de telle manière que le filet est tenu avec une tension suffisante pour obtenir un rebond d'au moins 80% lorsqu'on laisse tomber une balle de tennis sur une partie médiane du filet, ce dernier étant placé en position horizontale. Le filet est conçu de sorte que les mailles, lorsque le filet est monté sur le cadre sous tension, s'étendent depuis le bas du cadre vers le haut sur les côtés opposés d'une ligne centrale verticale avec un angle égal à cette ligne centrale. Pour un filet ayant une maille carrée, les diagonales de la maille s'étendent horizontalement et verticalement lorsque le cadre se trouve dans une position verticale d'utilisation. De préférence, les attaches (34) permettent un ajustement ou réglage individuel de la tension du filet en différents endroits des attaches.
