Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a system structure for extracting relations between technical terms within a large amount of literature information using verb- based patterns. The present invention provides a system that is capable of extracting relations based on verb-based patterns from abstract and bibliography databases in all fields of science and technology using a Tech Association Mining Appliance (TAMA) capable of detecting the technical terms of text and relations therebetween in academic literature databases in the fields of science and technology. The present invention has an advantage of providing a practical relation extraction system structure using a number of academic databases.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for providing customized research information. A research supporting portal server searches a knowledge base included therein to extract information on topics of a domain of interest when domain selection information is received, generates a user profile information input image including the extracted information on the topics and provides the user profile information input image to a client. The client receives user profile information including a level of knowledge and a goal of a user about each of the topics through the user profile information input image and transmits the user profile information to the research supporting portal server. The research supporting portal server extracts research information on the topics using the information on the topics and the level of knowledge and the goal of the user, included in the user profile information, sets the research order of the extracted research information and provides the research order to the client. Information on topics of a specific domain can be provided to a client such that the client can make structural access to the current knowledge base and a user can make procedural access to topics in the relation of cause and effect.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for circuit mode resource allocation in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) system is disclosed. The method includes generating a first resource allocation message which comprises currently used slot bitmap information with respect to a circuit mode region in a frame; allocating resources to one or more terminals with respect to currently unused slots in the circuit mode region according to the currently used slot bitmap information; and generating a second resource allocation message which comprises information relating to the resource allocation. Thus, the effective circuit mode resource allocation can be achieved without holes in the circuit mode, while maintaining backward compatibility with the existing standards.

A method for transmitting and receiving signals using multiple frequency band in a wireless communication system are provided, in which a BS determines whether an MS is to use a plurality of FAs, selects the plurality of FAs if it is determined that the MS is to use the plurality of FAs, transmits FA information about the selected FAs to the MS, and transmits and receives signals to and from the MS in the selected FAs.

Also, identifier information on the subscriber of a concurrently allocated radio resource is transmitted through common control information. Therefore, information for a plurality of subscribers coexists in a single radio resource block, and it can be easily transmitted. Since a subscriber station which has received downlink information can know to which radio resource block the information for the corresponding station is allocated through the subscriber identifier information transmitted as common control information, the subscriber station can access desired information by accessing a specific radio resource block to which information for the subscriber is allocated in the received frame.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for extracting the semantic relations of context and a recording medium storing the program source thereof. The present invention is intended to detect technical terms by parsing full text of documents and recommend research topics using the relations therebetween using a method of searching for a first concept connected to a specific vocabulary word through a causal relationship and a second concept connected to the first concept through a causal relationship, determining the relation therebetween and performing recommendation as research topics. The present invention has the industrial utilization advantage of improving the overall search efficiency and utility of massive databases.

A Korean morpheme analysis system using pre-analysis data according to the present invention includes a database for storing pre-analysis dictionaries corresponding to the pre-analysis data, a dictionary management unit for managing the database including a pre-analysis dictionary storage area, and a morpheme analysis unit for, if a morpheme analysis request command is input, receiving pre-analysis dictionary search results corresponding to the morpheme analysis request command from the dictionary management unit and providing morpheme analysis results on the basis of the pre-analysis dictionary search results. Accordingly, the present invention can improve inefficiency in which morpheme analysis is performed into high-frequency Tomaks every time, and can increase the efficiency and accuracy of Korean morpheme analysis using analysis results of pre-analysis dictionary on Tomaks with respect to miss-analysis and excessive analysis caused by a complicated analysis method, etc.
