Abstract: The present invention relates to a valve (100) for a gas storage (200). The valve (100) comprises a valve seat (110) and a valve cap (120). The valve seat (110) comprises a duct (111) which has a centre axis (115) and through which a gaseous medium is flowable and an edge (112) which surrounds the duct (111). The valve cap (120) is mounted pivotable at the edge (112) in such a way that it is pivotably around the pivot axis (121). The pivot axis (121) is spaced apart from the centre axis (115).

The membrane (101) comprises a reflection portion (102) for reflecting radar beams. The gas storage (110) further comprises a radar level measurement system for determining the filling level of gas in a storage volume (Vi) of the gas storage (110)by emitting radar beams in the direction to the membrane (101) and for detecting radar beams reflected by the reflection portion(102) of the membrane (101).
