Abstract: A traffic control signal comprises a housing 10, first light emitting means 11 for emitting a red light, second light emitting means in spaced relationship to the first light emitting means for emitting a green light 13, and third light emitting means 15 for emitting a light of contrasting colour to the red and green lights. The third light emitting means 15 preferably surrounds only the first light emitting means 11. The colour of the light emitted by the third light emitting means 15 is preferably white to give the best possible contrast recognition. The shape of the third light emitting means is preferably rectangular.

A collapsible child's cot comprises a floor and six rectangular wall sections 11 to 16 hinged together about five vertical axes so that the sections may be arranged in the form of a rectangle in plan view, or folded and closed together for transport and storage, the hinges 22 being so arranged that the adjacent wall sections fold together alternately inwardly of the cot about the vertical axes. Each wall section comprises a pair of horizontal frame members 19, 20 through which spaced vertical rods 21 pass, some of the rods constituting legs 21a. The floor comprises two sections 17, 18 hinged about horizontal axes to two of the wall-sections 15, 14 respectively. The floor sections 17, 18 carry lugs 27 to hook over the lower frame members of the wall-sections 11, 12. If the floor sections 17, 18 and legs 21a are omitted, the wall sections may be used to form a collapsible play-pen.
