    Abstract: 356,574. Windows. LUNKEN, E. H., 11, Clubway, Hartsdale, New York, U.S.A. Nov. 21, 1930, No. 35112. [Class 20 (iii).] Window frames for buildings, such as offices, extend approximately from one floor to the next and are secured directly to the building framework in a continuous vertical line. The window may comprise a lower fixed decorative panel 37, an outer sliding panel 25 and a fixed upper window. An inside sill 46 may be bolted to an inverted channel 45. The glass is secured by strips 27. The meeting edges of the fixed and sliding sashes are weatherproofed by engaging strips 29, 30. The corner joints of the sashes may be braced by inset angles 28, Fig. 7, and a stiffening strip 31 may be applied to the lower member of the fixed or other sashes. Pocket pieces 10 are screwed to channel brackets 4a on the frame. The fixed glass panel may be wired glass and may be suitably decorated.
