Method and plant for waste treatment, said plant comprising an oven (1) delimiting an enclosure (2) for a fluidized particle bed (3) of materials, means for recirculating said particles, means (28) for mixing, coating and drying said recycled particles and wastes and a device for feeding the oven from means (28). The invention is applicable in the treatment of wet wastes.

An installation for the regeneration of sand comprises: a fixed bowl (22) on an inclined axis and open at the top, defining a rotation bearing (24); a circular plate (26) at the bottom of the bowl and driven in rotation in the bearing by a half-shaft (25) connected to a drive unit (27), and having a plane transverse surface facing the open end of the bowl; and at least one nozzle (17) in the bowl for distributing particles through a parallel-sided outlet orifice a short distance from the transverse surface of the plate and offset with respect to the axis of rotation (y-y') of said plate. Application particularly in the regeneration of casting sand.
