Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable interaction between clients located in heterogeneous IP environments (IPv4 and IPv6) as transparently as possible for end users.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method of sending data between heterogeneous nodes. The method comprises a step of inserting a type indicator into a message (RE(1), I(1)) sent by a user agent in one of said nodes before setting up a communications session between said nodes, the type indicator representing the type of address associated with said user agent (A). The method quickly identifies risks of incompatibility between two types of user agents (A, B) seeking to communicate with each other, with a view to resolving such incompatibilities if necessary. This invention is applied to intercommunication of IPv4, IPv6 or Dual Stack (DS) user agents in IP networks.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently processing a stream unit in multicast communication. SOLUTION: In the method for transmitting at least one data stream composed in a form of an access unit toward at least one terminal, at least some of the access units include at least one pointer which indicate a dependent unit of the stream or another stream to optimize the processing at the terminal and/or the useful speed of the stream. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of broadcasting, to terminals, of digital contents according to a general broadcasting, such as the broadcasting of television programs. SOLUTION: In a network which comprises a device (11) for broadcasting digital contents and a server (10) storing auxiliary data to be associated with at least one digital content, at least one digital content is broadcast to terminals. At least one terminal command is broadcast in this digital content. At the level of a terminal (14) of the network, the digital content broadcast is received; the terminal command is extracted from the digital content received; and the terminal command is executed (23, 24) by requesting from the server the auxiliary data associated with the digital content. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a method for enabling a terminal to address-designate a local device in spite of simultaneous connection through a blocking tunnel to an IPsec gateway. SOLUTION: A gateway (PASS-D) stores the correspondence between a public address (AD-1) of a local router (ROUT-1) providing the connection of the terminal to the Internet and a private address (ad-3) assigned to a terminal (T-L) in the addressing plan of a remote network (RES-D) during the establishment of the tunnel. Furthermore, the gateway (PASS-D) sends a print flow to the local router (ROUT-L). Thus, the print flow is directed to a local printer (E-L) by a port translation technique. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for managing battery charging by the management of a mobile terminal user. SOLUTION: This invention is a data transfer method of at least one mobile terminal including the monitoring of a charging level of a battery. The method includes a step E102 in which a current value NC showing the charging level of a parameter is measured; a step E103 in which the predetermined current value NC is compared with a threshold Th; a step E108 in which a warning is made if the current value NC is smaller than or equal to the threshold Th; and a step E110 in which the mobile terminal is set to be an economy operating mode if an agreement for performing these setting steps is given by the mobile terminal user. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and remotely correct an arbitrary graphic scene. SOLUTION: This method and this device provided by this application are characterized by that the method is used for changing a graphic scene displayed on a screen of a terminal; the graphic scene comprises a set of graphic objects; each graphic object is used in the terminal so as to configure images to be displayed on the screen by corresponding to the graphic scene; each graphic object is defined by a field; the method includes a step for transmitting a data signal for correcting the graphic scene; the data signal includes a frame for updating the graphic scene; and the frame includes a replacement command for replacing the existing graphic scene with a new graphic scene. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve defects of a conventional device by proposing a signal regenerating device which is capable of regenerating a signal containing information encoded by phase modulation. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a device for regenerating the phase of an optical signal carrying information encoded by phase modulation of said signal, the device comprising an optical signal modulation converter for converting the signal carrying the information encoded by phase modulation into at least one secondary signal carrying said information encoded by amplitude modulation, and at least one module for optically regenerating the amplitude of the secondary signal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function for securely distributing sensitive data. SOLUTION: The system comprises an application device AD including a data processor 44, a smart card access device 22, a smart card 20 and a communication interface 40, and a server TS. The smart card access device 22 accesses the smart card 20 uniquely associated with a user. The smart card 20 includes a first encryption key KC. The server TS securely communicates the sensitive data to the smart card 20 by encrypting the secret data by means of the first encryption key KC. The sensitive data are decrypted and stored on the smart card 20. An applications program 60 is operable to access the sensitive data on the smart card 20 only following successful mutual authentication between the smart card 20 and the applications program 60. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which allows every user who has a terminal including a multimedia message service (MMS) client, to directly receive a message deposited in the message service of the user on the terminal. SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: transmitting a message (MSG) from at least a receiving box (4) of a destination user to a multimedia messaging server (MMSC); transmitting a multimedia message (MMS) from the MMSC to a terminal (3) of the destination user; and allowing the destination user to directly acquire the deposited message on the user's original communication terminal.
