Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encode multimedia content using dynamic interfaces. SOLUTION: By providing an extendable, programmatic interface to the content of a scene, a scene can be more efficiently encoded than a scene in which each characteristic of each object in the scene is explicitly specified in the video stream for each frame. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for coding a video stream by using the compact displays of a rotation and perpendicular line 200. SOLUTION: The method and the system 102 convert a rotation and perpendicular line 200 to a regularized rotation and perpendicular line and then projects the regularized versions to a unit cube 215. Each rotation and each perpendicular line 200 are coded according to a face to which projection is made. Motion is displayed in compact by motion crossing the unit cube 215. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for solving no efficiency of known encoding, namely, for uniformly encoding arrays of data of values in a video stream. SOLUTION: A data type of an element to be encoded is selected, a predictive value is quantized and encoded as part of a video stream using a quantization parameter of the selected data type. This is repeated for all the arrays. The resulting video stream is an encoded result of positions, colors, scales, rotations, normals, vectors, and the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
The invention concerns a mobile telecommunication network comprising a plurality of terminals and an allocating entity adapted to allocate radio resources. One radio resource is associated with a transmission power. One terminal of the network is selected (21) based on at least one transmission power respectively associated with at least one radio resource previously allocated to the selected terminal. Thereafter, an available radio resource is allocated (22) to the selected terminal. Then, a transmission power is associated (23) with the radio resources previously allocated to the selected terminal, so as to reduce the total transmission power allocated to the selected terminal. The previous steps are repeated (24) as long as at least one available radio resource fulfills an allocation condition.
Abstract:
A device and method for intercepting and analyzing traffic for terminals connected to a telecommunications network, according to wireless technology, using telecommunications standards. A terminal is connected to a telecommunication network such that the terminal can transmit and receive with the network. The terminal executes at least one service on the network in accordance with at least one communication protocol and a graphic user interface. The device also intercepts and stores data frames exchanged over the network by said terminal in the context of services being executed, and analyzes the stored frames to deduce parameters characterizing the connection of the terminal to the network. The device also identifies the various executed services and their associated instantaneous rate, and while allowing real time viewing of the parameters characterizing the connection via the graphic user interface.
