Abstract: A system and mechanism for the movement of large, outsized and heavy cargo includes a tow cable (30) connectable at a first end to a towing vehicle (35) , a buoyant lift vehicle (10) comprising an inflatable member (10), a tether cable (15) linked to the buoyant lift vehicle (10) and having a connection (20) with the tow cable (30), and a payload connector linked to at least one of said payload tether cable (15) and said tow cable (30). The tow cable (30) has a tow vehicle connector at a first end. A connector (20) links the tether cable and the tow cable.
