Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a telecommunications network for efficient connection between the telecommunications network and a CPE, the method comprising the steps of: -- establishing a physical communication channel between the access node of the telecommunications network and the CPE and using a parameter in the access node for authentication and authorization, -- the telecommunications network providing a public or private Internet Protocol address to the CPE for use by the CPE to communicate with the Internet Protocol Edge node of the telecommunications network, the Internet Protocol address being associated with at least one parameter of the physical communication channel on the access node, - the telecommunications network initially assigning a first functionality level to the public or private Internet Protocol address, -- the telecommunications network assigning a second functionality level to the public or private Internet Protocol address, in case that the telecommunications network is able to federate the at least one parameter of the physical communication channel to a contract related identification information.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a communication system with integrated services (10) which comprises an IP communication network (20). At least one adapting and connecting device (30, 30') is connected to the IP communication network (20). Said adapting and connecting device (30, 30') associated with a spatial zone (cabin 1, cabin 2) includes a first group of interfaces (40, 50, 120) for connecting non IP systems, as well as a unit (80) for converting messages, supplied by a non IP system into IP data in accordance with an IP communication protocol. An IP address is associated, for example, with the adapting and connecting device (30, 30') via a management system (26).
Abstract:
O.Z. 0050/41002 s: A process is described for the preparation of finely divided polymer powders by polymerizing water-soluble monomers in the aqueous phase of a water-in-oil emulsion in the presence of water-in-oil emulsifiers and polymerization initiators, removing the water from the resultant water-in-oil polymer suspension by azeotropic distillation, and isolating the suspended, finely divided polymer powder, either the polymerization of the water-soluble monomers being carried out in the presence of from 0.1 to 10% by weight, based on the monomers employed in the polymerization, of protective colloids, or the protective colloids being added to the water-in-oil polymer suspension after the polymerization is complete. The polymerization is preferably carried out in the presence of surfactant. The finely divided pulverulent polymers are used as flocculants or thickeners for aqueous systems.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for electrochemically reducing reducible dyes by bringing said reducible dye into contact with a cathode. Said cathode comprises a support consisting of an electrically conductive material and an electrically conductive, cathodically polarised layer which has been formed in situ by deposition. The method is characterised in that the electrochemical reduction is carried out in the presence of a base.
Abstract:
Described are agglomerated polymer particles produced from finely divided water-soluble or water-swellable polymerisates and a method of producing such particles by the removal of water from azeotropic water-in-oil emulsions of water-soluble or water-swellable polymerisates in the presence of 1-40 % by wt., relative to the polymers, of poly(alkylene glycol) compounds (a) obtained by the addition reaction of C2-C4 alkylene oxides with alcohols, phenols, amines or carboxylic acids and (b) containing at least two alkylene oxide units in the polymer structure. The agglomerated polymer particles thus produced are subsequently isolated. The water-soluble agglomerated polymer particles may be used as flocculation, retention and water-removal agents, while the water-swellable polymer powder may be used as a thickening agent for aqueous systems, in particular for textile-printing pastes.
