Abstract:
The invention relates to a device in a cable tie. This comprises an elongate band part (2) of a certain width and thickness, which at one end has an elongate insertion narrower than the band part and terminates in a grip tab, and at its other end has a locking head (1). The locking head (1) has, on the one hand, a through-opening (6) which is intended for the band part (2) and has substantially the same width as the band part (2) but a height greater than the thickness of the band part (2) and, on the other hand, a slot-shaped recess (7) in one transverse wall of the opening (6), the width of which recess is such that it will allow the insertion part to be inserted into the opening (6) via the recess (7), forming a band loop. On the band part (2) there is toothing (10) and in the locking head (1) a locking tongue (8) provided with toothing (9), which are designed, by means of a positive interlock, to lock the band part (2) in relation to the locking head (1). In the area around the connection of the insertion part (3) to the grip tab there are wing-like projections (11) extending transversely and out from the insertion part (3), which are thinner than the grip tab (4) and which towards the latter terminate in a ridge (12). In forming the band loop, the ridge (12) is designed, with the projections (11) inserted into the through-opening (6) of the locking head (1) and engaging with the opposing walls of the opening (6), to abut the locking head (1). The fact that the projections (11) are of thinner than the grip tab (4) creates a clearance interval (13) between the insertion part and the locking tongue (8).

The invention relates to a device in a cable tie. This comprises an elongate band part (2) of a certain width and thickness, which at one end has an elongate insertion part (2a) of a lesser width than the band part (2) and at its other end a locking head (3) with, on the one hand, a through-opening (4) for the band part (2), which has largely the same width as the band part (2) but a height greater than the thickness of the band part (2), and on the other a slit (5) in one transverse wall of the opening, the width of which slit is such that it will allow the insertion part (2a) to be inserted into the opening (4) via the slit (5), forming a band loop. A tongue (6), which is designed to lock the band part (2) in relation to the locking head (3), extends from one end of the opening (4) to the other and towards the slit (5). A sheet-metal insert (7) reinforcing the locking head (3) is embedded in the locking head (3).

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device in a cable tie. This comprises an elongated tie part (2) of a certain width and thickness, which at one end has an elongated insertion part (3) of lesser width than the tie part (2) and at its other end a locking head (1). In the latter there is, on the one hand, a through-opening (6) intended for the tie part (2) and having a width substantially the same as the tie part (2) but a height greater than the thickness of the tie part (2), and on the other, in one transverse wall of the opening (6), a groove-shaped recess (7). The width of the recess (7) is such that it allows the insertion part (3) to be inserted into the opening (6) via the recess (7) forming a tie loop. Interacting members are provided on the tie part (2) and in the locking head (1) that are designed by positive interlocking engagement with one another to lock the tie part (2) relative to the locking head (1). At each edge of the recess (7) there is furthermore a pin-shaped projection (11) pointing towards the through-opening (6) and designed to engage with corresponding grooves (12) running along each edge of the tie part (2) when the tie part (2) is inserted into the opening (6).
