Abstract:
The integrated control circuit is for an electronic circuit, such as a DC-to-DC converter, using current sense information developed across an intrinsic circuit element of the electronic circuit. The integrated control circuit includes a temperature sensor to sense a temperature rise induced by the intrinsic circuit element of the electronic circuit. The temperature error signal and a feedback signal from the intrinsic circuit element of the converter are combined to provide a temperature-corrected feedback signal to a control unit for the converter.
Abstract:
A vending machine comprises a dispensing system arranged to hold a selection of articles in five vertical columns. The dispensing system may also comprise a plurality of vertically feeding conveyor belts 3, upon which are held the selection of articles, wherein each belt is driven by two motors. The articles are dispensed into tray 4. The vending machine is preferable powered by a mains supply and is either fixable to a wall or a free standing stand.
Abstract:
A water bath cooker 10, suitable for sous vide style cooking includes a housing 12 and, within the housing, a container 14, which may be removable, forming a bath for receiving water. An inductive heating system 50 is provided for inductively heating the container and comprises one or more induction coils 18, 20, a control unit 22, a temperature sensor 24, a power unit 26 and a control panel 28. The control unit may comprise a PID controller. A hinged cover or lid 32 may be provided and thermal insulation 38 may be included in the lid and also between the container and the housing 36.
Abstract:
Gel dispensing door apparatus comprises a fabric pad (6, figure 1) with small holes (8, figure 1), a gel pack (7, figure 1), a frame (4, figure 1) and a main door (3, figure 1). The frame can be attached to a door by screws (2, figure 1). The apparatus may be refilled by unlocking and opening the main door, removing the gel pack and fabric pad, and replacing them with new ones. Also disclosed is a pull handle which comprises a fabric handle 5, a fabric pad 12, with small holes 11, a gel pack 10, clips 2, screws 6, 9, vertical keys 7, handle lock 8 and caps 4. A method for refilling the pull handle comprises removing the clips, releasing the handle lock, removing the screws and caps and replacing the gel pack and fabric pad.
