Abstract: A flat plate of thermally conductive material, such as aluminum, has mounting holes for connecting it on one side on a support and on the other side to an instrument which is to be thermally stabilized. The plate is internally traversed by a heating wire and is recessed near one of its edges to provide a platform on which temperature-sensing control elements such as a thermostat, a heat limiter and an alarm indicator can be positioned in close proximity to the wire. The platform is encased by a housing in which these elements and their connections are embedded in synthetic potting resin.

Abstract: The invention relates to a heat-insulating arrangement in the region of the holder of pipelines for any desired purposes. In the case of such an arrangement, it is intended reliably to prevent freezing in the region of the holders of pipelines as well, which object is furthermore intended to be capable of achievement at a low cost. This is achieved in the case of an arrangement which is characterised by an approximately roller-shaped moulding (1) which is longitudinally split in mirror-image form, preferably consists of integral polyurethane material which is foam-expanded to the shape, holds the respective pipelines (13, 14, 15) and, possibly heating lines and/or heating rods in a central cavity (5) and is supported by means of suitably bent-out end walls (6, 7) on the pipelines (13, 14, 15), and in that, furthermore, the holder (32) engages on the outer surfaces of the moulding (1).

Abstract: A stacking and surface protection device is disclosed on a protective housing made of a synthetic material. The stacking and surface protection device has at least two raised supports in the form of supporting feet (14, 15) molded on each of the outer surfaces (10, 11, 12, 13). These supporting feet (14, 15) have contact surfaces made so that two supporting feet (14, 15) on an outer surface are male and female elements with respect to their contact surfaces and interlock when the outer surface is rotated by 180 DEG around a vertical as well as a horizontal axis. As a result, protective housings stacked on top of each other, i.e. outer surfaces lying on top of each other are blocked in two degrees of freedom of the stacking plane. A stacking and surface protection device having stacking support surfaces of identical configuration by means of which stable stacks can be obtained while the smooth synthetic material surfaces are effectively protected against scratching and soiling is thereby created.

Abstract: The invention relates to a heating block for heating valve blocks and measuring instruments. The heating block (1) consists of a block-shaped elongated heating element (2) with at least one flat longitudinal surface as contact surface (4, 10) for heat transfer contact to a countersurface (5), for example a valve block (6). In the heating element (2) a longitudinal hole (12) is provided in the immediate vicinity of the contact surface (4, 10) so that only a thin crosspiece of material (13, 14) remains between the hole (12) and the contact surface (4, 10). An elongated heating element (15) is inserted in the hole (12). In an opening (17), which extends to the hole (12), at least one miniature thermostat (20, 21) or temperature sensor is placed. Because of the block-shaped formation of the heating element (2) and the position of the heating element (15) as well as the thermostats (20, 21) a good regulation behaviour for the purpose of the application is achieved with a compact, space-saving shape. By attaching heater fins (3), which in an additional embodiment can be built as separate attachable fin elements, the heating block (1) can also be equipped for exclusive or additional convection heating.
