Abstract:
Nodes/sites of a radio access network have power utilization and power backup facilities and capabilities suitable for particularized node operation. Features of the nodes/sites and/or of the radio access network include power load control; intermittent charging of batteries; controlled (e.g., slow) charging of batteries; and multiple power backup banks.
Abstract:
Method, arrangement and computer program product in a power system for adapting the amount of supplied power to a current consumer, in dependence of current load requested by the current consumer. The power system comprises power supply unit, backup battery unit, and fuses. The fuses are adaptable to different trip values and may be enabled/ disabled. The current consumer is attached to a fuse. The method comprises obtaining a current load requested by the current consumer, adapting the number of connected power supply units to the current load, obtaining an indication that power supply from the power supply unit is available and receiving an indication of low backup battery level. If the power supply from the power supply unit is available for the current consumer and no indication of low battery level at the backup battery unit is received, the backup battery unit is disconnected.
Abstract:
Said shield comprises a transparent dark welding glass (17) which is arranged as a locally limited portion to be positioned in front of the eyes. Around this welding glass there is provided a transparent portion (13,15) which is highly light-reflecting and UV-absorbing and comprises a planar panel (13) with the welding glass attached to it.
