Abstract:
A device, a system, and a method for the treatment of liquid effluents by means of electric discharges is provided. The electric discharge that is set up in the treatment device following upon application of voltage pulses has characteristics in terms of amplitude and duration of the pulses such as not to incur in phenomena of dissipation of energy but rather as to emit ultraviolet radiation for further treatment of the effluent.
Abstract:
A device for plasma treatment of solid waste includes: a casing defining a treatment volume; a plasma torch including a first electrode and a second electrode that face into the treatment volume; an inlet port for intake of solid waste to be treated; an outlet port for disposal of inert solid products of reaction; a supply port for intake of a gas for supplying the aforesaid plasma torch; and a discharge port for discharge of gaseous products of reaction. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged opposed to one another, and the casing is mounted rotatable about an axis of rotation. A treatment system is also provided incorporating the treatment device.

Abstract:
Described herein is a treatment device for liquid effluents comprising a casing (2) defining a treatment volume (V) arranged in which is an array of electrodes. The electrodes (4) are provided as plate electrodes with perforated structure and characteristic ratio between the sum of the edge lengths (L30) and the electrode area (A22, A24) comprised between 0.1 and 1.5 mm/mm2.
Abstract:
Described herein are a device (4), a system (1), and a method for the treatment of liquid effluents by means of electric discharges. According to the invention, the electric discharge that is set up in the treatment device following upon application of voltage pulses has characteristics, in terms of amplitude and duration of the pulses, such as not to incur in phenomena of dissipation of energy and such as to emit ultraviolet radiation for further treatment of the effluent.
Abstract:
There are disclosed protective means to be installed on a road or motorway barrier to protect a motorcyclist in the event of an impact against the barrier, consisting of continuous protective elements (1; 1') placed beneath the lower strip of the barrier and consisting of a box-type elongated body with an open rectangular section, where the side (2) of the box-shaped body facing the supporting stakes (5) has a longitudinal opening (14) on the whole length thereof. A protective element (1; 1') is fixed to a supporting stake (5) by a plate (6) inserted into the protective element (1; 1') and a counter-plate (7) placed outside the protective element (1; 1') and tightened against the plate (6) by at least one bolt (7) passing through the opening (14) formed in the open side (2) of the protective element (1; 1'), to block the edges of the open side (2) of the protective element (1; 1') against a tab (9) of the supporting stake (5).
Abstract:
There is described a device (1) for the pyrolysis treatment of non recyclable waste, which is configured for producing a synthesis gas as a gaseous pyrolysis product. Moreover, there is described a plant for the treatment of synthesis gas having a modular structure and being adapted to operate continuously, even during maintenance work.
