Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for joining modular floor covering units.SOLUTION: The connectors 20 include a film and an adhesive layer coated on one side face of the film. To install tiles 41-44 using the connectors, a first tile is placed on a floor material and a connector is positioned so that the adhesive layer faces upward and does not contact the floor material. The connector is typically positioned so that only a portion of the adhesive layer adheres to the underside of the tile, and leaving the remainder of the connector extending from the underside of the tile. Tiles are then positioned adjacent the first tile so that a portion of the connector adheres to the adjacent tiles. In this way, the connectors span adjacent tile edges. The tiles are assembled on an underlying flooring surface without the need to attach them to the floor surface. Accordingly, the tiles create a floor covering that "floats" on the floor surface.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce labor of a user when purchasing commodities or managing the stock by easily managing commodities in a home by using a computer system. SOLUTION: When purchased commodity information is acquired from a personal digital assistant 1 or when consumed commodity information is acquired from an input part, a stock management apparatus 2 updates stock information stored in a database part to always accurately manage the status of the stock at a present time. Besides, in a prescribed timing, commodities whose stock is less than a preset minimum keeping quantity is calculated and the commodity information is transmitted to the personal digital assistant 1 so that the purchase of the commodities is instructed. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump which minimizes clogging resulting from the coagulation of fibers and fine particles in a screw pump such as a MOYNO progressing cavity pump used in a process by solving a problem that, in the nylon recovery process, the nylon fibers and the fiber particles or molecules in a mixture of a solvent are aggregated and sunk, and thereby the clogging occurs in process equipment or piping.SOLUTION: This split pump comprises: a progressive cavity; a distal end; a proximal end; a progressive cavity rotor which extends passing through at least a part of the progressive cavity; and a progressive cavity stator 209 which surrounds the progressive cavity rotor, and is arranged between the distal end and the proximal end of the progressive cavity. A recirculation flow is formed of a side-face intake port 201 which fluid-communicates with a process chamber at a stator, and a side-face recirculation discharge port which fluid-communicates with the inlet port 201 between the pump and the chamber, and thus the coagulation and the clogging at the process equipment is prevented by maintaining such a flow.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for joining modular floor covering units. SOLUTION: The connector 46 includes a film and an adhesive layer coated on one side of the film. A first tile 41 is placed on a floor material, and the connector 46 is positioned so that an adhesive layer faces upward and does not contact the floor material. The connector 46 is typically positioned so that only a portion of the adhesive layer adheres to the underside of the tile 41, leaving the remainder of the connector 46 extending from the underside of the tile 41 as it is. Tiles 43 are then positioned adjacent the first tile 41 so that a portion of the connector 46 adheres to the adjacent tiles 43. In this way, the connector 46 spans edges of the adjacent tiles 43. The tiles 41 are assembled and connected together on an underlying flooring surface without the need to attach them to the floor surface to create a floor covering that "floats" on the underlying floor surface. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carpet tiles having patterns and color schemes that obviate the need to orient the tiles in a particular positional or rotational relationship relative to each other. SOLUTION: All carpet tiles have at least one background color. At least nine carpet tiles including one of the carpet tiles and eight carpet tiles placed adjacently to the one carpet tile so as to surround the one carpet tile have mutually different pattern shapes. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picked-up image distributing device, a picked-up image distributing program, and a picked-up image distributing method, capable of making a terminal which can be viewed and listened by a user display relating to each of a plurality of motion pictures which are imaged by a plurality of cameras, after giving synchronization with an arbitrary timing. SOLUTION: The picked-up image distributing device has motion picture data receiving means for receiving motion picture data picked up by a plurality of imaging devices, inputting means for designating picked-up frames configuring these pieces of motion picture data about each of a plurality of pieces of motion picture data received by the motion picture data receiving means, synchronization giving means for giving synchronization relating to the picked-up frames of the plurality of pieces of motion picture data designated by the inputting means, distribution image producing means for producing one distribution frame by combining the plurality of picked-up frames given the synchronization by the synchronization giving means, and transmission processing means for transmitting the distribution frame produced by the distribution image producing means to an image display terminal. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact creel occupying smaller space in a production floor, decreasing yarn waste in production process and capable of producing same amount of those produced by using conventional creels. SOLUTION: The compact creel utilizes frames 22. Each frame 22 includes holders for holding yarn packages 30 facing front 24 and back 26 and affixed to the frame 22, a header 32 for directing a yarn 33 from the yarn packages 30 to a tufting machine 58 and affixed to the frame 22 and an antistatic flexible tube 50 for leading a yarn 33 from the holders to the header 32. The header 32 provides for aligning all the yarn ends in the same plane to join them to ends already threaded into the tufting machine 58. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for controlling a robot, which can control the movement of the robot with the motion suitable for the sensitivity of replayed music. SOLUTION: A spectrum analyzing section 1 analyzes the distribution of the sound pressure for every frequency band based on the sound data read out from a MP3 data memory section 4. A sensitivity data calculating section 12 calculates the sensitivity data composed of kinds of feeling and feeling levels for every kind of feeling, etc., based on the analyzed results. The calculated sensitivity data is output from a sensitivity data output section 3 to a robot control section 7. The robot control section 7 controls the movement of the robot based on the sensitivity data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
