Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing moisture inside a face mask. A moisture absorbing system may comprise a dehumidifier (110) operable to attach to a face mask (100). The dehumidifier (110) may contain a moisture absorbing material or desiccant (120). The dehumidifier (110) may be attached to the mask (100) over an exhalation port (112), allowing the user's exhaled breath to enter the dehumidifier (110). The desiccant (120) may absorb the moisture from the exhaled breath. The desiccant (120) may generate an alkaline liquid (122) when the desiccant (120) absorbs water vapor. The generated liquid (122) may be collected in a bulkhead (116) of the dehumidifier (110), and may be monitored by the user to determine end of service life for the dehumidifier (110). For example, a fill line (130) may be printed on the dehumidifier (110), such that when the level of the liquid reaches the fill line (130), end of service life is indicated for the desiccant.

Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing moisture inside a face mask. A moisture absorbing system may comprise a jar (110) operable to attach to a face mask (100). The jar (110) may contain a moisture absorbing material (300), such as silica gel beads. The jar (110) may be attached to the mask (100) over an exhalation point, allowing the user's exhaled breath to enter the jar (110), wherein the moisture absorbing material (300) may absorb the moisture from the exhaled breath. The jar (110) may be rechargeable, or reusable. When the moisture absorbing material (300) has been saturated with moisture, the jar (110) may be removed from the mask (100) and heated on a heating base (402) to evaporate the moisture from the moisture absorbing material (300). The moisture absorbing material (300) may change color when it is saturated or dry.

Abstract: A method (20) for selectively deleting messages received by a radio telephone (1). The method (20) includes detecting when the telephone (1) has moved from a previous coverage area to a current coverage area and selectively obtaining a set of coverage area specific messages (Mset) stored in a memory (16,18) associated with the telephone (1), the coverage area specific messages being from a set of messages received when the telephone was in the previous coverage area. The method (1) provides for and automatically deleting the coverage area specific messages from the memory (16,18) when the telephone (1) is in the current coverage area.

Abstract: This disclosure will describe a novel finding and make the claim for the first time on a group of old compounds and formulated new compounds. These compounds have superconducting property at high temperatures, i.e., 151K or higher. Several compounds were prepared, though not well-purified, at around middle of 1900s. Their chemical, structural, electric and magnetic properties were studied and reported but their superconducting property has not been known and has never been exploited because the idea of type-II superconductivity was not proposed at that time. Consequently, we claim this finding as an invention even though our invention is based on the studies of the compounds' electric and magnetic properties along with their crystallographic features from the previous publications. The experiments to further verify their high temperature superconductivity require the utilization of sophisticated facilities on synthesizing highly pure compounds and the deregulation from government security authorities on purchasing the starting materials.
