A security device is provided for use with a receptacle. The security device includes engagement means (6) for allowing engagement of the device to the receptacle in use and closure means (36) capable of closing an opening (28) of the receptacle in use. The device further includes tamper evident means (40) and, with the closure means in a closed position with respect to the opening of the receptacle in use, removal of the closure means from the opening is limited or prevented without damage and/or removal of the tamper evident means. Linking means (12) are provided between the engagement means and the closure means and the linking means allows relative movement of the closure means and the engagement means.

A method of administering an anaesthetic gas to a child comprises supplying an anaesthetic gas by tube 20 to the mouthpiece 16 of a telephone handpiece 12 of conventional appearance, and simultaneously supplying a suitable prerecorded sound e.g. from cassette recorder 30 to the earpiece 24 of the handpiece.

2609. Mackenzie, J. R. D. Feb. 2. Sketching-appliances; palettes; colour - boxes. -A portable sketching- outfit comprises a palette, colour-box, or the like provided with an easel arm by which a stretcher may be supported to one side of the palette, the whole being conveniently balanced in one hand. The complete outfit consists of two covers a, b, Fig. 1, three stretchers c, d, e, and a palette f, which are secured together by fastenings such as hasps j and turn - buttons k. The covers have projections n on which the device may rest; and a handle H is provided. To the inside of the cover b, a spare piece of canvas may be secured by drawing - pins, and the cover a has a receptacle for extra colours, oil bottles, &c. The palette f has a thumb-hole r, Fig. 3, and, to the underside, brushes are held by spring clips, and a detachable oil-cup t is secured. To the palette is pivoted an arm v, which is adjustably held in the extended position shown in Fig. 3 by a slotted stay w and a thumb-screw. To the arm v is pivoted, by hinge-pins and eyes, a stretcher c, which is held at the desired inclination by a stay 5 and a thumb-screw. Pivoted fingers 4 at the front of the arm v serve to retain brushes &c. A second pivoted arm 9 serves as a counterpoise. A modification suitable for pastel work comprises two covers, a pastel box-palette, a stretcher, and a receptacle for sketches. The palette has on the upper side a series of compartments to contain the pastels, and has means for supporting a stretcher as before described. A further modification, adapted for water-colour work, comprises two covers, a palette with deep wells, and a stretcher. To enable the sketch to be lowered nearly into an horizontal position when a wash is to be applied, the stretcher c, Fig. 12, is mounted on a frame 17, which is pivoted at its front edge to the underside of the palette f. A folding stay 22 rests against the body of the user and retains the palette horizontal when the sketch is lowered. A watertank and a cup 24 are detachably secured to the frame 17, the cup being adapted to be secured to the palette when in use.

The invention is a lawn mowing blade known as a mulcher to be used on a motorized push-type lawn mower. This blade chops the grass into very small piece s which will be left on the lawn to break down and enrich the soil. This eliminate s the need for raking, and in addition improves the quality of the lawn. The invention will cut the grass evenly in damp conditions as well as when it is dry. It also mulches and b ags grass and leaves which is great for gardens, shrubs etc. This invention is intended to improve your present machine, but it is necessary to purchase the proper mulching baffles to fit your model of mower.
